Ischlzimmer

We had an excellent 2 night stay at Ischlzimmer. The self-contained apartment was in impeccable condition, had the creature comforts which we needed e.g. coffee in the kitchen and the place was very clean. It is a short, easy walk to the town centre and there was parking on-site. Sabine is the loveliest and the kindest host we have ever met on our travels. She greeted us when we arrived and gave us a lot of tips for where to go and pastries to try in Bad Ischl. On the day when we were due to depart, we were notified that the first flight of our 3 connections was cancelled, hence affecting the rest of our flights. Sabine went above and beyond to help us out. She even extended her hospitality to us by letting us into her home after we had checked out, provided us with cookies while we made calls on her phone to rebook our flights for the following day and found us overnight accomodation for the unplanned, extended stay in Bad Ischl (Ischlzimmer was fully booked). We are most grateful for her assistance and generosity, and would not hesitate to stay here again when we next visit Bad Ischl.
