Great caravan park - easy to manoeuvre into van sites - quite no traffic noise - amenities very well kept and spaces. Easy to get out and about in Charters Towers from here. Friendly and helpful staff. Rocky road is best ever. Very clean overall.

Lovely garden setting, excellently maintained, spotlessly clean. We stayed in  an en suite cabin which was comfortable and thoughtfully equipped. We usually camp and the tent sites looked very pleasant - nice grass area with plenty of shade. Good camp kitchen and other amenities.

Great park.  Clean, well-kept amenities and gardens. Friendly, helpful staff. Short distance to town centre. Sites were very large. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Brad & Tanya do an awesome job!! And the homemade slice was divine!!!!!!!

Wow what a gem. Had a camper on a powered site. Beautiful clean area. Ammenities were the cleanest I have seen in a long time. Showers were amazing. Laundry clean and reasonable price. Overall the whole park was fantastic beautiful green grass,great camp kitchen.

This park is lovely and clean and well thought out.  The amenities are second to none.  I can honestly say this is the nicest and cleanest caravan park I have ever stayed in. We had an ensuite suite which backed onto the golf course.  Lots of greenery and plants.   Bit like an oasis after driving out west.

We had a 2 night stay in our camp trailer for the Charters Towers swap meet / car show 2022.  This was our first caravan park stay since travelling with our camper and it did not disappoint.  We had a beautiful green spacious unpowered site.  The camp kitchen area is fantastic, well equipped & has a TV for those footy fans.  The communal camp fire near the camp kitchen is so good.  Great way to meet people and chat about your travel adventures.  The caravan park hosts light this baby up nightly and there is plenty of timber to keep you warm till tucking in.
On checking in we were warmly welcomed.  Amenities are high standard.  Plently of toilets and showers.  Showers had great water pressure and heat (especially for this nippy stay that we had).  The laundry area, big clothes lines, chook pen and herb garden looked great too.  Plenty of bins and an extremely tidy well-kept caravan park.  Dalrymple Park is in a great location backing onto the golf course so the views are very relaxing and spacious, while still being near town, which is a very short drive or an easy ½ hour walk.
When travelling to Charters again we would stay here in a heart beat!

Excellent van park, amenities some of the best we have come across. We had a powered grass site backing onto the local Golf Course.  Multiple bird species a delight to see as we watched the sun set. The amenities appear to have been updated recently, fresh and clean, multiple WC’s and three good sized shower cubicles with gas hot water in each block. 
Good sized laundry at one end. Option to order food in from in-house, pool for the kids, fully covered Bar-B-Q area with lights fire pit and TV. Fire pit appeared to be used every night. Good value for money, staff are friendly, helpful and approachable.
This park is a three minute drive to Charters Towers main street. Great place for a break in our travels, three nights not enough.
We will come back to this one.

We called in here after a very long drive from Ravenshoe. We were going to stop overnight at The Lynd Oasis Roadhouse, however, it was closed so we pushed on for another three hours and on the way a Brahma steer ran into our car and wiped out our driver's side mirror, so not a pleasant day. It was so lovely to finally arrive in Charters Towers and to be met with the lovely owners of this park who found an overnight spot for us with a permanent spot tomorrow and telling us just to get settled and call in the next morning to pay for our stay. The next morning we had a good look around and the park is very neat and pleasant, the amenities are well maintained. There is a lovely veggie garden and beside this is a chook house and the hens are let out in the afternoon and visit all the sites looking for handouts. This park is highly recommended.

The best van park we have ever visited. Very well set out and well maintained. Our cabin was spotless and very comfortable. The bed was very good with extra blankets as well. We will definitely stay here again.

I had to find somewhere short notice and the lady on reception (who's name escapes me sorry) was lovely over the phone and in person. They had a hiccup with the cabin I was to be put in so I scored a family cabin  which I was impressed with and would be if I had kids too. Only issue was thin walls so I heard every conversation my neighbours had and every  game they played. Good shower, comfy bed, was very clean. table right outside for family BBQs and the pool close by. Kitchen has everything you need. Thanks for my last minute  booking. I would stay here again and I would recommend it to other people.

Great park fantastic hosts

It has the Friendliest staff, it’s a gorgeous park with great site sizes and it is close to all attractions.  The pool is beautiful and refreshing on a hot day.  The camp kitchen is clean & well equiped.  The toilets are lovely and clean and even have a full length mirror!! Which is rather rare in the caravan parks we have visited so far.  Very well done Tanya and Brad & Team we will be back

Highly recommend this caravan park

Very welcoming, comfortable and roomy park. Bits and bobs available for purchase in reception and books & magazines free to read.  Stayed in a poolside cabin with verandah. Green grass, nice gardens, decorated for Christmas. There are lots of amenities including a camp kitchen. The eggs and fresh herbs were a bonus!

Located on the northern outskirts of Charters Towers, Dalrymple Tourist Van Park is well located and easily accessed. Plenty of trees, lots of green grass and generously sized sites.  It is a pleasant spot and your not on top of each other.

There is a good camp kitchen, a communal camp fire is set nightly, amenities are good and the wifi works well.

Good option for Charters Towers

This is not the first time staying here for us but we enjoyed it so much last time we decided to return. The Park is very neat and well maintained, the service is excellent and honestly if returning to Charters Towers this would be our only choice of accommodation. xx
