This is my second stay at the Poetry Building. It is still a gem. 1 BR apartment with tiny but well stocked kitchen (including coffee filters, coffee, tea, S&P, O&V. Had two balconies on two different levels. First visit was 8 years ago and hasn't changed. Still a nice, small rooftop pool with honor bar and an organic rooftop garden that guests can use (only herbs available in late February, but still nice for my eggs!). Wonderful laundry service -- a medium sized bag for $8 (no itemizing) returned same-day. I've sent friends and relatives here, too, and they've been as impressed. Nice people. Great location close to great cafes and restaurants (Roux and El Burladero). The only thing I wish they'd improve is building access. You have to have a key to enter or exit, and the keys themselves are quite heavy to carry around all day.
