We was made very welcome during our 4 day stay. All the staff are very friendly and chatty. The rooms are superb. The decor is amazing too throughout the hotel. The food and drinks at the hotel were beautiful also. Me and my Husband had a very nice stay in a beautiful hotel which was very close to the beach, pier and other amenities with just a short walk to the shops,arcades and restaurants and walks down to the beach. We will stay here again when visiting Skegness

Absolutely fantastic stay. The hotel. Rooms was clean and the bed was the comfiest I’ve slept in. Staff extremely friendly and catered for all. 💯 would stop here again

The room was clean and tidy with nice soft beds and towels and a little toiletry set had been left for each of us, which was a nice little touch. 

The bar area was nice and tidy and a parrot chattering away made it feel welcoming.   Eating area for breakfasts looked very clean and although we didn't have a breakfast there they always smelled very tempting.

Staff were absolutely brilliant. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful.  Even stopped to chat to us when we saw them outside the hotel.

I’m saddened to read the bad reviews on here, yes the hotel is having a few bits done, but I had such a lovely welcome from the lady on reception and from the guys that own the hotel.

I checked in to room 501, a small but comfy room, nice comfy bed, TV was in Italian but I managed to change it to English, nice shower, with and added extra of an Nespresso machine!

The bar has a good selection even my favourite Water Melon gin! Staff could not of been more helpful and informative. Plenty of space for parking and an easy walk into the town.

I had a great nights sleep and a fabulous breakfast which is the best I’d had in a while.

I’ve stayed in some other properties in Skegness and this one beats the rest.

Absolutely lovely place to stay! Staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. I had issues with the booking agent when I arrived  at the hotel but these were quickly and effectively resolved by the staff of the hotel without hesitation or detriment to my stay. I would highly recommend this as a great place to stay.

The breakfast is amazing quality and close to all Skegness has to offer. 

What more could you want.

Lovely clean & comfortable hotel. Staff were helpful & jiggled car park so we could get in. Our room was close to the bar but we didn’t hear a peep. Close to pubs/bars. Would defo recommend and we will stay here again.

Rooms very clean and has everything you need. More storage in room would be better.

We had a fantastic couple of nights here supposed to be 3 nights but the virus took its toll on the bookings.
Although the rooms are quite small they have everything you need. They are spotlessly clean and warm. The breakfast is amazing, sets you up for the day. There is a comfortable bar but due to the restrictions it was closed one day. The location is good, no need to use you car. 5 mins from beach and town centre.
We will be returning later this year. When all the Coronavirus restrictions are lifted.

We recently stayed here and I have to say it was fantastic. Everything about our stay was 5*. Very clean and well presented. Friendly staff. They went above and beyond for us. A short walk from the seafront and shops to. We would recommend 100%.

Excellent stay

Second  year  staying here.   Yes the rooms are basic but they are clean and comfy.  The staff can't do enough for you.  The breakfasts are good and nicely cooked.  The outside area is pleasant and kept clean.  So much so we have pre booked for next year.  (also brilliant club right next door with entertainment on most nights.)

Close to restaurants and fast food franchise, with amusements, sea, beach and shops all within a pleasant stroll this hotel is a hidden gem. The rooms were clean with comfy beds, hospitality tray and fluffy white towels. The breakfast gave many options, although I did look at them all I stuck with the regular one, bacon egg n mushrooms. Beans and sausage were on offer too but  my gluten free diet prevented me having it. They did provide me with my special bread though, so all good and the breakfast was cooked to perfection. . There is a bar area with generous seating and a lounge area that doubles up as a dining space. Our group met in here  every morning and sometimes in the evening. Benches outside meant we could socialise in the sun with a coffee. There are toilets near the bar so no need to treck up to your room if socialising downstairs. There is a small lift, ideal for those with mobility problems or just taking your luggage up to your room when you arrive. The staff were so obliging, nothing I asked for was too much trouble. And all our keys were on hand when we arrived at the designated time. I hope these details are useful to people who need them. And thank you to all the staff at the Scarborough Hotel, what a delight it was to stay with you.

The trip advisor reviews do not do justice to this newly managed hotel. I certainly will return.

Hotel was clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and courteous. Bed was comfortable  so had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was well cooked and tasty. Tea and coffee  facilities in room were of reasonable and sufficient quantity. Although a hair dryer was fitted in room it did not have a long enough lead to reach socket, unless I missed seeing one nearby. Considering that my room was on the top floor the water supply, both hot and cold, seemed up to the job.
All in all what with the location only a few minutes from the beach and local amenities and having lift access to all floors I enjoyed my stay there and would certainly think about returning at a future time.

Couldn’t fault the hotel in anyway.bed was very comfortable room was clean and tidy shower was nice and the staff pleasant and good breakfast.everything we needed was walking distance will be booking same hotel next year

Everything was how it should be

Was a nice place would come back again. Nice staff and they put on a nice breakfast in the mornings. 
There is a bar that's open till late pool table and plenty of seating. 
Beds are soft and easy to sleep In recommend trying it out.

the hotel was lovely and clean and the decor good, nice wallpaper, looked like new velour sparkly beds and polite staff , but ....i found the maintenance an issue. there was a hole in the wall just above the single bed, window didnt close properly , bathroom window had no handle and was kept closed with a long screw sticking out the wall, there was no heating even though there were radiators and it is october, in fact when we in the room we had our coats on. The breakfast was cooked to order and was lovely. overall i just couldnt stop laughing at the absudity of it , trying to be upmarket but not quite hitting it. it is very close to town but unfortuately for us was loated next to a club and people kept pooping out of it for a smoke and were very very loud, this obviuosly is not the hotels fault but i really had very little sleep

weekend break

After a day trip to skegness we decided last minute to stay over. Booked a family room - 1 double bed, 2 pull out beds on booking.com around 8pm. Went to the hotel around 9pm. When we pulled up we were a little worried as hotel didn't look like it did in the pictures. When we got inside it looked quite nice. Was greeted by a lovely lady who said she had upgraded our room. Went to our room looked like it was recently decorated. Had been prewarned hair dryer might not work - don't know as didn't try it. Toliet flush was broken and kept struggling to flush it. There was also a leak coming from under the toliet which stank. Struggled to get hot water in the shower at first but once it warmed up wad fine. Struggled to get the tv to work but was fine once we managed to log in to Netflix. Peaceful night and didn't have any noise. Went down for breakfast which was lovely. Felt sorry for the girl serving though as she was rushed off her feet. Wasn't told a check out time so presumed it was 10.30. 10.15am a lady came and knocked the door to tell us check out had been. She came across quite rude as she told us especially when we hadn't been told. Went down to check out. Few people was huddled round reception area that looked like staff. Nobody asked us how our stay was or interacted with us -just took our key off us.
