Victoria House

A good B&B should feel like a home from home, and that is precisely how I felt about the Victoria House in Northallerton. Situated on the beautiful South Parade, it is about 2 minutes walk from the railway station, and similarly close to the town centre - really in terms of location it couldn't be more convenient. Each of the three rooms has a different theme, I stayed in the blue room and found it very comfortable indeed. Although my room was not en-suite, this did not cause any difficulties as I had a dedicated bathroom to myself just across the landing - this bathroom being very spacious and well appointed. The rooms were clean and tidy, clearly the ladies who run the Victoria House take a great deal of care over presentation, and the whole place had a lovely warm and cosy atmosphere. All in all Teresa and Coleen looked after me superbly, I found the two ladies extremely approachable and professional, and I have no hesitation in saying that they looked after me wonderfully, and made me feel like a welcome guest in their house.
