Alcombe House

We were a family party of 14 staying here for a birthday celebration.Alcombe House as it is now known is not a hotel but a great rental property. We were renting for 4 nights. The rooms were great and spacious with two twin room t the top and 6 double rooms over the other two floors. All rooms were on suite. The first floor bathrooms with showers were very good, the other rooms had electric showers but look carefully for the switches of some were hard to find. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need along with the crockery and utensils. Dining room was great for our party and the living area was very spacious with WiFi and television. There is also a games room in the basement with a combination table of pool and paddle hockey. The only draw back was the lack of a garden to have a bbq so we had it in the car parking area. The house is Situated on the main road but it’s not noisy and is very easy to find along with various takeaways and small shops. A 10 minute walk away is a large Tesco and a Morrisons.
