Cornish Valley View B&B

We spent a week with Ros and Roger at Valley View and what a treat it was. Lovely friendly hosts who were always willing to chat and to pass on their knowledge of the area. Very comfortable and clean B and B with a view to die for from the guest lounge. Great breakfasts;proper tea, coffee and milk in the rooms; great entertainment from Willow the gorgeous working spaniel and from Mannie and Baggy the cats. Thoroughly recommended for a great stay!

Just got home from a most enjoyable 4 night get away at Cornish Valley View. Scrolling through our photographs we find it hard to believe it is nearly 7 years since we last visited.

Everything about the place is outstanding. Roger and Roz are wonderful hosts.

The Boscastle room is comfortable with views over the fields at the rear. The en suite facilities and toiletries were excellent.

The food is amazing. The full English breakfast was superb. Generous supplies of toast (home made bread) and home made preserves. I even discovered a liking for gooseberry jam! The Cornish Valley View delight breakfast was again impressive with local cheeses, and 4 different home made rolls including saffron and brioche.

Sadly we did not choose the right week for weather.

We found some excellent places for meals including Cobweb Inn at Boscastle, the Combe Barton at Crackington Haven and the Boscastle Farm Shop.

Roz and Roger are very welcoming to their home and the room was big and very tastefully furnished. Willow the dog was so friendly to us . The view from the bedroom of the valley was a rare treat and to watch the sheep and other animals was also very calming. Such a wonderful place to stay , away from the madness of London. What a wonderful B&B, Ros was so friendly & such good fun. The breakfasts were lovely ,fresh laid eggs everyday. Our room was beautifully decorated lots of room with all the facilities you could need. The view from our room was fantastic across the valley .

Probably the best place we have stayed, spotlessly clean, Ros and Roger were extremely attentive and friendly, lovely home cooked breakfast and homemade preserves. This is certainly a hidden treasure and can't wait to return.
Gorgeous rural location with beautiful views but easily accessible to tourist locations close.

Loved our 2 night stay at Cornish Vallley B&B. The room was exceptional, with amazing views. Everything was spotlessly clean. 

Breakfast was amazing. The fresh fruit was very welcoming first thing in the morning, followed by your choice of full English or adapted to your own choice. Home made Jams and bread all make for a very satisfying start to the day. 

Bed was extremely comfortable with a choice of pillows.

The house is very pretty, Roz and Roger are great hosts, the room was immaculate and everything had been considered.

Breakfast was exceptional with a view over the garden and the fields.

Everything was perfect, we only met one of the cats but we were only there one night.

We did however meet Willow, and she is a totally gorgeous spaniel with a really funny personality.

Wonderful hosts Roz & Roger gave us a wonderful welcome to their lovely B&B. Everything was of the highest quality , such a comfortable bed with lovely bedding in a beautiful dual aspect room , the en suite was lovely with a great shower. Roz makes fresh bread & home made jams for breakfast , a wonderful selection, I had Scrambled eggs & Smoked Salmon , the eggs are from the hens in the garden & the sausages in the full  Cornish are locally sourced. The whole place is spotless & a real treat to stay . We had the Boscastle room & we were SO very comfortable . Roz  & Roger looked after us so well & made our stay such a good one.

We have just spent seven wonderful nights here wrapped in pure comfort and masterfully looked after by a quite delightful host in Roz. Expertly aided by husband Roger, Roz provides the perfect establishment with a beautifully decorated, cozy home, nestled within captivating scenery on view from every window. Our contemporary bedroom, ‘Boscastle’ provided a sumptuous bed, masses of wardrobe space, beverage-making facilities, tv and a brand new ensuite shower room. A separate guest sitting room next door to our bedroom, with balcony, sumptuous leather sofa and countryside vistas far and wide, was yet another gem to discover! Every morning began with a wide breakfast choice:  cereals, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, homemade breads and conserves and a full cooked breakfast with freshly laid eggs from the resident ‘girls’ in the henhouse.  Roz & Roger’s ‘home from home’ B&B is certainly one of the nicest places we have ever stayed in. Our week, weather-wise, was rather wet, windy and cold but the saving grace was the warm welcome we received from Roz whenever we returned to base. Cornish Valley View offers everything a visitor could possibly want plus, of course, Roz!

Sensible proper COVID-19 precautions taken.
The breakfast was superb, included delcious home made jams, bread and andfruit salad.  Roz even gave me a lift back to Crackington haven to resume my walk.

Cornish Valley Perfection

I had a lovely 4-night stay at the Cornish Valley View B&B. The B&B was perfect, very cozy, clean and tidy with great views across the fields and a very comfortable bed. Roz and Roger were really friendly and made me feel so welcome. The breakfasts were amazing, and Willow the dog and the 3 cats were so cute and cuddly. It was a shame to leave and I would love to go back there one day.
