Had a brilliant few nights at The Weary Friar. We stayed in The Friar’s Rest, which is a separate cottage just next to the pub. Really peaceful and quiet — perfect for switching off. The cottage was spotless, well looked after, and had everything we needed, including a proper kitchen (though we mostly ate at the pub!).Breakfast was great every morning — decent portions and really good quality. We had dinner there a couple of times as well — can highly recommend the fish and chips. The pub itself is really welcoming, with a nice atmosphere, and the staff were lovely — friendly, helpful, and made everything easy from the moment we arrived.The surrounding area is beautiful, proper countryside. Plenty of parking too, and it was easy to find. All in all, a great little break — would definitely go back.
