Close to the ocean, shopping and the airport. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

Our stay here was nothing short of amazing. It is tranquil and peaceful, and the hospitality top notch. Amazing amazing breakfast also!

The Double deluxe room is so big and well decorated. 

We arrived and were warmly greeted by Pauline..  Our room was en suite, big and extremely comfortable. We even had a dressing room. We went out to a recommend restaurant which was very good. The property is fenced and very secure.  Breakfast was good too. We highly recommend it

We had a great stay at Tesorino. Very quiet and clean with a lovely pool area. The staff were very warm and friendly and very welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic with it being made fresh for you as you request. Its a 10 minute walk to the beach and about the same to the shopping malls and restaurants, we felt safe with multiple security checks happening daily. We would definitely stay again

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Anne and her staff were so friendly and helpful. 

Wonderful views, very clean, close to the beach but away for the noise. We will definitely be returning.

Excellent stay, we felt right at home. The service was excellent and we enjoyed the breakfast the most. Thank you to the two lovely ladies who served us breakfast and to Pauline for making our stay enjoyable. 

Situated in Durban’s upmarket Umhlanga area, very close to the beach and numerous restaurants. Great value, good sized and comfortable accommodation, helpful staff, delicious breakfast, lovely pool and superb hostess who was extremely helpful. Will definitely go back.

We loved it!

I spent two nights in this nice B&B with a very lush garden. The owner Anne is very kind.
Our room was very nice, but the toilet seat in our bathroom was very old 
Breakfast was good, with a wide choice of food, but I think they need two people to cook/serve breakfast instead of only one; we had to ask for napkins because they were not on the tables.
Parking inside is quite uncomfortable, due to the slope; however parking outside is safe, because the area is 24h patrolled.
The location is fantastic, very close both to the sea and to the restaurants area.

Very nice room and garden

My husband and I recently spent 10 nights (19 to 28 Dec) at Tesorino B n B in Umhlanga Rocks. Everything about it was great. Anne (owner) and Pauline who helped Anne were both warm and helpful. Tesorino was ideal for us as older grandparents as our young family, visiting from London were at their family home in Ridge road which was literally round the corner; and we could pop in 'as and when'. Room and generous  breakfast service fantastic. Prices were  very reasonable and  I hope we can repeat the exercise in December 2023!

A wonderful 10 days!

I booked my stay for the Comrades 2022. The location is about 15 min from Durban ICC where you collect your race pack and bus pickup (if the start is at Pietermaritzburg). Also you have a spar less than 1km from the B&B as well as gateway mall 8min away...Not to mention the beach is also very close...

Biggest highlight was that the host prepared for each Comrades runner a breakfast pack to take with you on race day without us even asking for it. This was such a nice gesture and help tremendously on the day.

When I do Comrades again or just go down for a holiday I will most definitely book at Tesorino B&B again.

Excellent stay over Comrades weekend!

This was such a great stay! I am so I booked this for my hubby who is in South Africa - Durban by himself.

The location was perfect.
The facilities were excellent and clean.
The staff were amazing and friendly, and the breakfast provided each morning was absolutely delicious with an array to choose from.

Super happy with this choice, and if back in Durban again, would definitely book here again.

The most tranquil experience

My stay was great until i asked for a late check out, i was given an excuse that they had a booking for my specific room(when there are many other rooms) at 10.30 that day, therefor no late check out.
