Vila Liliana

Vila Liliana is situated on the top of villas area on a mountain, which is opposite to the ski slopes and attractions of Predeal. Honestly, the villa is modest, but nice, it has cozy rooms, compact furniture, including medium double (note double) beds. The price per night is RON 100. For additional bed you pay RON 20 in case of a child or RON 30 for an adult. As you can see you won't make big savings, so better avoid staying 3 people in a room. On the last floor there is an apartment, which is really large, but very cold. Linen is clean, towels are ok also. The yard is small. As I remember not more than 3 cars can be parked in the yard. The first floor has smth like a living room and a kitchen. Outside there is a place for bbq. Breakfast is not included in the room rate. Some tourists said that the owner prepares tasty food on request for a very reasonable price. Winter season seems to bring big companies to ski resorts, which are usually noisy. If you want peaceful holidays, better ask the landlord in advance who's going to share the villa with you. On summers, parties are forbidden. Walking distance to the transport station should be not less than 10 min, then add 15 more minutes walking to the resort area. Normally, would be no problem by car, but there is no infrastructure with regard to parking there. Prices in Predeal are affordable, especially for food, which is tasty and not expensive. A trip between the ski resorts of the region is not more than RON 11. You can travel by bus or train. Romanians (at least the locals) are proud of Predeal as they say the best slopes are located there. Well, yes, one chairlift and 3 ways to go down. Not really much. But the top has fantastic views, long paths, which to me, lead to Bushteni resort. Predeal is considered to be a place for soul, while Sinaia is considered as very commercial and expensive. It's worth taking a snowmobile for RON 100 and drive to "3 Brazi" chalet. You'll discover the genuine beauty of the winter world, infinite white carpets of spotless white snow. God, that is really fantastic! Take a train or bus to Bushteni. It has spectacular views. Take the cabin to the cross, situated on the top. Another good reason for walking and spiritual soothing is going up through a forest to a monastery. Peaceful impressions. The ski slope in Bushteni is perfect for beginners. The resort is not overpopulated. It has rustic, wooden, colorful villas and I guess prices can be a bit cheaper. My overall impression is good, I'm not too much pretentious, I had seen worse conditions. And as long I feel the power to walk all day long, it is absolutely not a problem to walk up and down a hill. The owners of the villa are really nice. It's a good point that they are living in the villa, and somehow monitoring the situation. I wouldn't vote for this resort as the best for skiing. What I've noticed about Romania is that there are no problems with the snow. It is always sufficient :))
