I've stayed in this hostel twice (in two different years) , during a weekend, where I was drawing the MIA Festival, precisely in Atouguia da Baleia. 

The owner, Sofia, is the sweetest hostess and she will go that extra mile to please you and make you feel at home. 

I have no doubts the way she welcomed me provided all the conditions I needed to improve my work, but also to have a great time, there.

Would definitely stay in Villa Hostel again, and I highly recommend it.

A cosy, calm and warmful place to stay, near the beach and the sea, where you are welcomed with love and care by the owners. You truly can feel at home! You can use the kitchens, either indoor or outdoor for grill. You also can just relax or sun bathing in the garden or enjoy a cosy living room. Notice: the optional breakfast is delicious and more like a brunch, with homemade jams and other fresh goods!

The owner is a sympathetic and very helpful lady. Breakfast is excellent. Free parking nearby. The hostel and the rooms are very clean. Atougia da baleia is close to Peniche, Baleal, etc. It's a quiet and pleasant town. Atouria is an excellent restaurant that mainly serves petiscos. ZonaR is a nice bar to linger the night away. 

Normally I don't do ratings, but this one really deserves it. 
Such a beautiful place, where the room(s) look like they would be decorated with love. The lady who runs it is a very kind, nice person who does a lot to make you feel comfortable . I got ill and could benefit from her herb knowledge, because she made a tea for me.  The breakfast was great for such a cheap price and their own traditional barbecue invites to make food (bread, barbecue) by yourself. The way to the beach is near by car or bike, and it's a nice alternative to the crowded Peniche! 
Worth a stay!

It was such a pleasure to stay at Villa Hostel. Sofia the host is very welcoming and helpful. The house is super cosy with lots of spaces to sit and chill, including the spacious garden. The kitchen is fully equipped, the shower one of the best so far in Portugal and the rooms are clean and modern. All in all a very nice place to stay in the Peniche area. Highly recommended!
