KR Hotels - Albufeira Lounge

Stayed here for the 1st week of September. We had stayed in the hotel around the corner a couple of years ago and had noticed this one then. So we booked up as the location was perfect for us, very near new town (the strip) old town & lovely beaches. We weren't looking for anything fancy, just clean, tidy & easy. This hotel was above our expectations, the hotel itself is kept very clean & tidy. Our rooms were large,myself and my husband had 205 which was one of the suites, very spacious with a wrap around balcony. Our daughter had 204 next door, which also wasn't a bad sized room. Beds were so comfortable and housekeeping attended every day. We also had a fridge in our rooms which was very handy. The pool was small but was ideal for the size hotel as only twenty something rooms. The cabana beds are a nice touch. Food & bar area was always kept spotless. The toastie sandwiches are tasty & good coffee but we only had breakfast once as we ventured out most mornings. The two ladies that ran the hotel were so hard working, only one on shift for the day and they did a great job. Huge thanks to Nina & Larri (not sure of spelling). Both were so friendly, always had a smile to give and nothing was too much trouble. Better staff than in some big chain hotels. So lots of positives from us, only thing I would say is as it's near the strip you will hear some noise of people around especially groups. The hotel is literally on the main road so there is quite a bit of traffic noise, which is to be expected. But didn't bother us as we knew the location. Would I stay here again, yes 😊
