Taj Hotel

Cozy place with very hospitable staff, at an affordable prize. Stayed here for a couple of times in my tuguegarao travel. It's very accessible and at close proximity to the center of the city. The lunch buffet is a must try!

Very homey

Stayed here for 5 nights; was booked in their standard room that was just enough to fit a double bed. Requested for upgrade but no other room available. 
The amenities and service are somehow poor but it was compensated by their courteous staff, always making excuses and apologies leaving no choice but to accept it.
If you order breakfast, its 30mins to an hour late; they don't do daily housekeeping unless you remind them and twice they even skipped for the day. You also need to request toiletries, and not automatically provided, so bring your own.
Poor wifi connection and the TV in the room was so small not sure if it was 12-inch or 15-inches.
Some portions of the floor tiles are already loose so it creaks when you walk around, therefore just stay in your bed.
They provide shuttle service from airport to hotel and VV is available; kuya driver is just so nice, he will voluntarily help with your luggage.

Poor Service but Courteous Staff

We stayed here for 3 nights what I like about this hotel is they offered free shuttle service from the airport vice versa! Also the staffs are really nice but I don’t like their breakfast when you have no other choices only ham and hotdog and you have to pay for additional when you want other choices. Maybe they can improve their blanket as well it’s too thin and the lighting of the room are so dark the wifi connection in our room was also slow having hard time to send and receive an email. 

Affordable Place

Finding this hotel is very difficult. I think the pin button on the map is not accurate. We called the hotel and the all their staff were very helpful and accommodating. I salute the service. The only issues are: the door to the CR is broken and the sheets are too thin and there is no drinking water.

Good Hotel

Cons

The hotel has a lot of staff but everyone's doesn't seem to know what to do. You would need to wait for an hour for your breakfast to be cooked and packed. Take note this is your ordinary ham, eggs, rice breakfast. We called 30mins ahead and still we waited for an hour. This was in all three days that we stayed in the hotel. Worst part is that the food was ready but they have to go somewhere else to buy styro container. Also, instead of asking the night before for your breakfast order, they will call you at 530am and yet you will wait for an hour to get it. I dont even want to go all the messed up orders and the lack of spoons and forks on your takeout breakfast.

Pros
Location, room and facilities is acceptable. Nothing special.

Poor service

Had to wait forever for the lady at the 27/7 convenience store at the hotel to sell me a beer. Claims there's something wrong with the POS. Nothing wrong with it! She's just plain lazy. The lobby stinks like sewage. Will not return.
