We had a very comfortable stay. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and the Qmeals were delicious. The staff deserve appreciation for their courteous responses to any requests and their customer friendly attitude. The hotel has a wonderful management team that prioritizes on satisfying its customers.

As informed the hotel is within 300 meters from junction station and central bus stand-decent hotel with well-behaved all category staff -good rooms -in various types -mullite cousin-tasty food-good sleep                  

Whenever I visit Trichy,  I visit PLA Rathna. Hospitable staff, decent rooms and decent food. Location is close to the station. The amazing part about the hotel is the consistency in its quality. The prices are also affordable. 

Just like any other Rathna group hotel, this is a well maintained property. Clean room, just a stone's throw away from the main Trichy central bus station and located in the heart of the city. Accessible to good vegetarian restaurants around. The breakfast is good if not great. The toiletries in the bathroom could be better and the blankets look a bit old and stained. Good WiFi. The staff are helpful and friendly. Overall, a good business stay.

VERY NEAR TO RAIL & BUS -IN PRIME LOCATION

A great place to stay

I stayed at the PLA Rathana Residency on 2-day trip to Trichy. Like quite a few hotels in the vicinity, the winner for Rathna is the strength of its location. It's a mere 200 meters from Trichy's Central Bus Stand and less that half km from Trichy Junction (Railway Stn). And if a real early morning good vegetarian breakfast excites you, then you could simply walk over to Sangeetha's Restaurant which is less than 100 meters awayand opens at 6 am.
The rooms was a modest double bed with no fancy interiors, but functional. The bath was clean and worked well. The Aircon did not diaappoint and although the bed wasn't the luxurious type, I had no complaints about the sleep quality.
Breakfast was a namesake and lacked even the standard fare. The restaurant served decent south Indian food, both veg and non-veg, but nothing too encouraging for me to make repeat attempts.
I do wish to make a mention about the service though. The staff is polite and courteous and will strive to extend their best services and this quite makes up for a few other areas that are not exactly best in class.
Nevertheless, a very functiona; accommodation and quite does the job if you're on a budget and not staying for an extended time.

A budget accommodation that serves the purpose of a short trip

Good place to stay for a short visit. Neat the bus stand and railway station. Rooms are fairly large, clean, but need maintenance. Toilets need to be updated and cleaned.
Service okay. Receptionist was very unfriendly and grumpy.
Breakfast was fine.

Good stay. Tasty breakfast. Courteous staff. Bed and pillow were uncomfortable. Room service was quick. Little far from my regional office. Did not ask for feedback. May try other hotels in my next trip to Trichy.
