The rooms had a good AC unit, but also small balconies and an upward opening window that kept the room from getting too hot in the summer sun. Bed's are a bit stiff but not enough to disrupt sleep. The bathroom was a bit small, but functional (there were times I'd accidentally splash the toilet from the shower), and when we requested extra towels they were provided immediately. The food selection was fantastic, the breakfasts were more then enough to keep us going through midday, and the sandwich options were equally good. Prices were reasonable and comparable to any restaurant in Filiatra. This was our first visit to Greece and we tried to walk to Filiatra a few times. I do not recommend it. But the hotel staff was very helpful in arranging taxis to nearby towns and even helped negotiate the prices as our Greek skills were non-existent. The Staff in particular were fantastic. Everyone apologized for their "poor" English, but we never had a conversation where we were misunderstood. Everyone was very friendly and willing to be patient as we tried to explain ourselves with a little help from Google Translate.
