Amazing stay!!
Beautiful,  clean, well designed rooms. Amazing beach in front, perfect swimming pool and pool bar with friendly staff.
Breakfast is delicious ,good  wi fi conne tion and staff is perfect everywhere. If it your first time in Lefkas Island ask for Irini at reception desk. She knows everything!!!

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Free parking, large classy rooms, wonderful views, modern bathroom, great location with a large pool. 

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. 

The hotel is opposite a beautiful beach and close to the city.

After a terrible experience with another hotel on the Island, we left and discovered this little gem whilst buzzing about on our scooter.  Dimitra couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful in trying to find us a room for the remaining 6 nights.  She called us back as soon as there was a no show and was an absolute delight to deal with.  Nothing too much trouble and always with a lovely smile. The hotel is very well maintained and looked after and in a great position opposite the beach with a lovely pool.  Whatever we asked for was delivered promptly.  The cleaners and bar staff and everyone seems happy and a pleasure to deal with.

It was very nice, everything is as you see in 
the pictures. The views is nice, the price it was ok. People are very Friendly! The Sunset is nice, the best place in Lefkada Town maybe.
Also the pool is nice!

This was the perfect spot if you’re on a kite holiday like we were. There is a pool and sun beds on the beach right in front for non-kiters. The kite spot is a 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk.

The staff is super friendly and went out of their way to make it easy for us to enjoy our last day by letting us use the pool and showers until the very end.

San Giovanni is an amazing place which me, my family and friend dearly love. We have been going every year for the last 8 years, sometimes twice, and always it feels like it is our first. Wonderful staff, starting with the onwer Mr. Verginis, the best hotel manager Tassos, the cleaner Maria and many others. Perfect location, especially for kitesurfers. Highly, highly recommended!

 From the start everything was so nice and perfect, the staff was kind and very helpful with any information, especially Maria. All the rooms are big and cleaned every day and have wonderfull sea view, you can actually hear the waves and also see perfect sunsets every single day. The breakfast was very good and sufficient. Thanks again Maria for all your help and good thoughts and definetly we will come back! 

We had a wonderful 5 day stay at San Giovanni. The property is right on the beach which can also be seen from the room balcony, away from the main street so you can hear the sea in peace. The rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast boufet was sufficient and special thanks to Maria which made our stay even more pleasent. She gave us a lot of info about the island and where to go and was just very helpful all around (we decided to extend our stay for one more night so a new room was quickly aranged for us). She even went out of her way to get info on other places in Greece we planned to visit. Many thanks Maria! Definetly recommand and we will surely be back. 

We went to San Giovanni studios for a long three day weekend. We stayed in the new suites. This place is luxurious, very clean, and the stuff extremely helpful and polite. The sea in front of the hotel and the rented umbrellas from a store next door are also very nice. 

The day we arrived it was late in the afternoon and the restaurant kitchen had closed for the day .... the staff however went and prepared a meal for us nevertheless. This was our introduction to this hidden gem of a hotel and area. 

The entire property was well-maintained and clean. Taso the "hands on" owner was there constantly making sure that everything ran smoothly. The staff .... Iris at the front desk and the entire staff at the restaurant always greeted you  with a smile and were eager to assist with any question or issue that we had. 

The entire area near the hotel is at present under commercialized and therefore very peaceful as the traffic is very sparse. The beach in front of the hotel which consists of small pebbles "votsala" is natural and untouched.  

If you want night life .... cafes... restaurants.... shops etc..... they are  short bike ride or drive away depending on your mode of transportation.

It was lovely, pool is beautiful, room was fantastic, clean, staff were absolutely wonderful.  You can’t swim at the beach, no sand just shells & pebbles but too many waves, they do have life guards but it’s not safe. 
The only suggestion I would make is that they should not charge for Greek coffee in the mornings.  They advertise as a resort & they offer breakfast, it is the only place in the world that I have travelled to who charges extra for a certain coffee as it’s not part of the morning coffees.  Not only coffee though, they charge extra if you want toast.  I have never been to a hotel let alone a resort that does not have toasters on their breakfast tables for you to toast your bread.  
We paid an extra 2 euro per coffee & 2 euro for each slice of bread that we wanted toasted.  It wasn’t the money it’s just not right

Great with a little disappointment

Very nice hotel with a very friendly staff at the hotel. The area around the pool is quite and calm. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. 
Thea area around the hotel is very calm so if you are looking for many shops there wont be any. The hotel has bikes you can rent for free which we used during our stay. The beach nearby is fine and there is sand but is not all sandy as expected. But we loved the hotel and the friendly staff.

Awesome!!!

Just returned from a 10 night stay in the garden rooms (x 2) with family of 4. Set just in front of the beach so perfect for Dad’s kitesurfing. Most of the staff were really friendly and wanting to please. Lovely clean pool and well maintained surrounding areas and always sunbed available. Plenty of shaded parking available. 

Rooms clean, good air conditioning and adequate for our stay. A few hooks on the walls would have been really useful for bags and clothing to hang. Daily room cleaning was good but never knew when this would be so a hanging ‘do not disturb/ please make my room’ sign would have been helpful especially has we had unwell teens and various pints of our stay. Kettle supplied in the room with paper cups the first day and were only changed when requested. A daily top up of tea bags/ milk would have been a nice touch. 

Breakfast was adequate but plentiful most days and a special thank you to the super friendly lady who worked there (didn’t get her name). Coffee was from a large urn, watery and tasteless - it would have been nice to have had the option of a fresh coffee. I enquired and was informed I had to pay for this. We had various other groups throughout our stay and there were some who piled food in the centre of their table using a lot of the fresh bread/ pastries only to leave most of it on the table when they left. Although melon was fresh, more availability of fresh fruit would have been lovely rather than tinned offerings. 

We ate at the pool bar a couple of times and was nice food and a cheerful young lady worked there but it is a shame that the pool bar was not really used a lot, often fairly empty.  We chose to go next door to the Varko bar often for lunches, sunset drinks and evening meal, along with a couple of other places a short walk away. 

Overall we had a lovely stay at San Giovanni and would definitely return. A few small extra tweaks and changes would bring San Giovanni to the ‘luxury’ name it has.
