Beautiful B &B near to Normandy beaches. Peaceful property to relax after a day of sightseeing. Need a car. Room is comfortable and very cute. Bathroom is stunning. Breakfast is a treat. Welcoming and friendly from the start. Highly recommend this gem!

Highly recommend for a quiet B&B in Normandy countryside! My family of 3 recently stayed for 2 nights. Communication from hostess before the stay was prompt and clear. Hotel itself is very charming- old buildings and a running brook along the side of the property is warm and welcoming. Rooms was comfortable, with a quirky bathroom set up that was not entirely private from the rest of the room, but wasn’t a major issue. It’s France- when aren’t the bathrooms quirky? Shower was modern and better than ours at home! Continental breakfast- fresh local jams, bread, yogurt, meats, cheese and cereal were served in a lovely courtyard. Sandrine the hostess is accommodating and welcoming, with her cat and dog nearby- Location is great to explore the area- French country charm in a central location- Enjoy!

Loved. Loved. Loved this quaint B&B. I would stay here again and again. Breakfast was lovely. Accommodations were clean and updated. Management was friendly and helpful. Great place to experience the French countryside.

Walking distance to  a Gold Beach, where the sun set colorfully after 10 in late June. The least commercial town in the D-Day landing area, just one resto/bar, a pharmacy, and a British armored vehicle "downtown."

Le Mas Normand has location, in its own way, in Ver-sur-Mer.

After a long flight and an unfortunately indirect drive from CDG, we found our way here, on a Sawday's recommendation.

Sandrine is a wonderful hostess in every way. She came to get us at the mairie when we could not find the place, then produced a remarkable charcuterie board with regional cheeses, pork products, fresh baguette, and her own sweet strawberries.

We were in the cottage, so we ate outside, on a beautiful summer evening. Then went to the beach for the sunset.

Breakfasts were continental, but worth getting up for -- several fresh breads, jams from local fruit, yogurt, granola, coffee, etc.

Highly recommended.  



We chose this property due to its charm and location. Upon arrival we found our host was extremely hospitable, helped us arrange reservations, and set a wonderful breakfast in the mornings. We enjoyed our visit very much! Thank you Sandrine!

When we go to France we tend to land at Cherbourg, then we head for Vers Sur Mer where Sandrine runs a fab B&B called Le Mas Normand. 

Sandrine is delightful, helpful. She clearly has an eye for interior decoration, and the breakfast is always good. The  accomdation is dog friendly. There are plenty of places to go and eat.

Beautiful Normandy beaches are a stones throw away. What is there not to like.

Location, location, location

It's always a pleasure to go to Le Mas Normande

Visited in late April 2023, 3 adults in 1 very cute room above a storage garage. Such a quaint and serene place. It is quiet and peaceful, in the countryside, a little off the beaten track, near to Juno Beach. You can imagine what it might have been like as a Canadian soldier landing in the area in 1944. The owner, Sandrine, is a lovely lady and creates a beautiful space for her guests to enjoy. Breakfast and coffee were wonderful. Room was very nicely decorated in a country-chic sort of way, and the beds were very comfortable. Shower had great water pressure with hot water. Lovely clean bathroom. Overall - what a wonderful little gem of a bed and breakfast. We hope to return someday!

Sandrine was the perfect host. As we were just staying the one night before catching the ferry back to the UK, we had a small room, but it was perfectly adequate for our needs, with an en suite. Breakfast was lovely, with home made jams and cakes.
In a nice quiet location. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Lovely stop over

We stayed here for a couple of nights to do some of the Normandy beaches and were very pleased with our choice. The property is everything we look for when we stay somewhere. The rooms are very nice, the overall property is beautiful, the owners are very friendly, and the breakfasts were superb. Would definitely recommend it and will probably go back ourselves!!

We stayed five nights, and found this B&B to be highly satisfactory.  Our host, Sandrine was wonderful.  Breakfast was excellent with fresh breads and croissants, homemade preserves, coffee and juice.  We had to be up and out early a couple of times, and Sandrine had breakfast ready at the earlier time.  A great location in a quaint Normand village, close to all the tourist sites.  For dinners, go in to Arromanches or Courselles sur Mer, and make a reservation for a Friday or Saturday night.  We had a rental car, and could park right at the B&B, no problem.

Wonderful Accommodations!

Sandrienne was a welcoming host and always glad to help with information despite our limited ability to converse in French, or she with English. The property is rustic and beautiful and her backyard farm animals are a delight to observe. Ver-sur-Mer and locale is a laid back beach town in farm country with lots of WWII history. We shall return when planning another trip to Normandy.

Really liked this country B&B. We stayed here for a few days to visit the American Cemetery (45 min nice country drive away with a 10 min walk to Gold beach) My wife and I stayed in the trailer which was fine for a couple of days. Sadrine's homemade breakfast was just over the top. The quiet country setting was a great departure from Paris during our 2 week European trip.

A great departure from a city B&B

We had the pleasure of staying in the wonderful Côte Bohème during the last week in July and everything was just perfect.  Sandrine and her husband go out of their way to provide you with anything you need and the wonderful French breakfasts they prepare each morning are just patisserie heaven!  Including Sandrine's homemade yogurt and jams, and a few occasional additions like Quails eggs from their own Quails.

The Cabin is just perfect and big enough for all 5 of us (2 Adults and 3 young Children) overlooking the beautiful large garden which is also home to the owners Chickens, Miniature Goat, Peacock, Quails and baby Chicks.  The setting could have not been more amazing and with being so close to the amazing beaches, this holiday was just. perfect!
