We had a 1 night stay in Puerto Plata and this hotel was amazing. The only thing I could say I didn’t like was that there is a club on the roof and you can hear everything in the rooms. That didn’t bother me as much though. Everything about this hotel was overall great. Clean, convenient, staff is nice, breakfast was great, the views are amazing. Everything is very local.

Convenient location, friendly staff, and the rooftop bar were all wonderful!

All staff members were very courteous and friendly. Food was great. Receptionist was very. Helpful in giving recommendations . Highly recommended. You can see the town from upper level.

I had an amazing time here. It was so clean and luxurious! The staff was great and the rooftop bar and restaurant was always banging! Loved it place and would only come back here if I visit again. Other “hotels” in the area were dingy, old, and rundown with little to no care by the owners.

When I get to the hotel,I wasn’t expecting that hotel was so beautiful.nice bed ,clean room,good breakfast.i like it

It has a great location, good rooftop for dining or enticing the afternoon.

Great location and friendly service if you want to bee within walking distance to see the historic area of Puerto Plata.  A little difficult to maneuver the stairs, would have loved an in room coffeemaker since  breakfast starts at 8:00 am. Would have expected a bedsheet between the comforter, but it was pretty clean. All around, for the price, a great value.

I had an issue with our room due to recent rain downpours and they were kind enough to move us without hesitation. One of the highlights of my stay was the culinary experience at Dynasty Hotel. One of the standout features of Dynasty Hotel is its prime location.

It was great and so up-to-date. Even the menu for the rooftop restaurant is not printed - but accessible on phone by using QR Code which is at every table and in every room. Unfortunately, in Spanish only - they do need an English translation!  The rooftop restaurant has a good selection and a bar with a wide selection of drink including premium brands.  The  restaurant has extended hours from early to very late at night and offers room service.The room was spacious and had everything I needed.  Lighting was excellent - far better than most places.  Nice work area for a laptop.  The fridge was handy and very cold.  The bathroom was really good and one of the best showers I've seen in many travels.  Everything was squeaky clean.I speak a little Spanish and that helped me get by - along with Google Translate on my phone.  The only downside for me was the lack of elevator.  My room was 2nd floor, but it seemed like they had extra steps to get there :-)  Then the restaurant was another set of steps up to the roof.  For an old man the steps were no blessing - for someone a bit younger they shouldn't even be an afterthought.The location is great and easy walking distance to almost everything.

This property was a little hard to find due to the congested area.  But once we did, we were pleasantly surprised.  Be careful though, there really isn’t any parking available. You have to park on the street and the locals try to scam money from you to watch you vehicle.  The upstairs bar is quite lovely with great service and food, but the sound carries through at night.

A gem in the heart of historic district

Bathroom had mildew and it needed a little more love and a lot of bleach. Staff was lovely and polite.

Great place to stay for a few nights in the heart of Puerto Plata, close to all tourist attractions.
