71 Nyhavn Hotel

On every single level, this place is superb. We arrived at 10am and the hotel allowed us to go straight to our room without any charge AND had upgraded us !! What a lovely surprise !! The hotel itself is perfectly situated at the end of the Nyhavn - 10mins from the metro and being on the end, away from ‘people noise’. You can pretty much get everywhere in Copenhagen by foot, and 71 Nyhavn is strap-bang in the heart of all of it The hotel itself is a converted warehouse I think, and with exposed beams feels quaint, full of character and perfectly in keeping with the hygge concept. Breakfast is generous, and the bd is the most comfortable one you could wish for. The hotel is immaculate in terms of its cleanliness. My partners passport and purse were stolen the night before we flew home at Tivoli Gardens , and the staff could not have done more to help us and guide us - they helped contacting the police and embassy and told us to not worry about a late checkout - (if that was what we needed). This was very much in keeping with service over the course of the three nights - courteous, friendly, informative, and helpful . We cannot thank all of the reception staff across the Sunday night and Monday morning for this. If and when we return to Copenhagen , we will 100% return to 71 Nyhavn, a top class hotel with top class staff.
