35 reviewsWe stayed for a total of 3 nights at Hostel San Fernando. The room was very clean, the air-con nice and cold. Mini-bar in the room and cable tv. We stayed in the private-twin, which was a big room with an en-suite. The Hostal itself is perfect, it is secure, a 1 minute walk from the square with tonnes of restaurants and bars. A gated chill-out area with good wifi etc. There isn’t any shared rooms or kitchen. They offer room service though. For a few dollars more than a backpackers hostel you enjoy a lot of privacy and conveniences. The best part is the manager. He is an ex-back packer so he knows the right info to give you and is extremely helpful, calling us taxis and actually giving us rides to places in his own personal car. I would highly recommend this to everybody. Well worth spending that little extra.
