The restaurant is situated in a historic rail station. The interior was evocative of the era when the station was active. The lunch menu offered variety. Soup of the day was excellent, as was the bowl of poutine. Friendly service.

our group of six cycled the petit train de nord this was our first stop. We had such a great time. The rooms were lovely, the food delicious and the ambience excellent.
Our server Joanne was amazing she really made our stay so enjoyable.

We stayed here for the night while on our Bicycle trip on the Petit Train du Nord. Our breakfast was great. Home made breads and preserves made on site. Great Coffee. The service was exceptional. If you are looking for an interesting lodging experience and good food. This is an option to consider.

We booked to spend the night after riding the petit train du nord bike route.  The service and hospitality were exceptional.  Too many examples to mention from our one night stay.  The food (breakfast lunch and dinner) is undoubtedly the best for miles around.  The prices, I thought, were very reasonable.  The hostess is a lovely lady and was very accommodating given we arrived early.  Our room was #1 and was in my opinion the best in the house as it has a balcony.  The rooms are an antique rustic and very clean and comfortable.  Two points to mention are that the walls are thin (you should bring ear plugs if your neighbors are loud) and you share 2 bathrooms with 4 other rooms.  DO NOT USE THESE 2 POINTS AS A DETERRENT!!!!  THAT WOULD BE A MISTAKE!!!  Our experience was one of the nicest stays we have enjoyed.  There is a short hike/climb near by to a beatific lookout with a spectacular view.  Book ahead and check this place out!

This was one of 3 places my sister and I stayed on a 4-day cycling trip on the Petit du Nord. Labelle is a sleepy little village and we arrived on a Sunday at the start of fall and nearing the end of prime tourist season. We were glad we had books to read! Not Much to do here so some forced relaxation; not a bad thing. Rooms are right above the historic train station. Bathrooms are shared. But we happened to be the only guests that night so felt we had the whole place to ourselves. (It was full the following night so the emptiness was coincidental and not because others had been avoiding it.) The downstairs bar and restaurant closed at 3:30 for the public and reopened to serve us an absolutely fabulous casual dinner. I had the mussels and frites — the latter cooked I. Duck fat. Yum! My sister had one of the burgers with a homemade brioche-style bun. She loved it too. 
The place is right on the cycling path so very convenient.


Loved this place for dinner with friends. Food was excellent (I had Le Gourmet burger) and served timely. I liked how the menu was focused on a few things and not too many. Atmosphere was cozy. Service was very good. Server spoke French and English. The restaurant is located in a quiet area.
