Novo Sky Hotel

I stayed at Novo Sky during my time in Baku and overall it was a pretty decent experience. The hotel is located in the Nasimi area, around a 30 minute walk from Nizami Street, so it’s slightly away from the main tourist stretch but still well connected. The room size was good and comfortable. I was given one on the 9th floor which meant taking two separate lifts to reach it. The air conditioning wasn’t working properly at first but the staff got it fixed quickly after I called reception. There’s definitely a language barrier like in most parts of Baku, but the reception staff here were genuinely kind and helpful. What really stood out to me was how warm and welcoming they were, always smiling and ready to assist, which honestly isn’t something I experienced everywhere in the city. They also allowed me an early check in based on room availability, which was a big plus after a long trip. Nothing overly fancy, but clean, comfortable, and good value for money. A simple, nice stay overall.
