After a hike from Waidring of approximately 2 hours I came to my destination - Alpengasthof Oberweissbach. I arrived at around 13:30 and the place is clearly a favorite of the locals as it was busy. The restaurant services local Tyrol delicacies at reasonable prices however I just stopped for a beer before continuing my hike. On researching Alpengasthof Oberweissbach I found it also provides accommodation however I have no first hand experience of this so can't provide a comment. There is a play area for children to use and whilst I was there an accordion player and guitarist were entertaining patrons with (I assume) are local folk tunes. There was also a gentleman selling hand carved wooden crafts if you are looking for an unusual and unique gift to take home. Overall Alpengasthof Oberweissbach provided a warm and friendly stop off on an exhausting day. Please note Alpengasthof Oberweissbach can be reached by road as well so has no accessibility issues.
