I stayed with my partner for a week in the second quarter of January, and the hotel really exceeded our expectations. I think it's the cheapest in Punta, but it outperforms their competition (like the Shelton) largely by its amenities. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The upstairs rooms are pretty nice, not the downstairs ones (look at that! I read a lot of criticism). The bathroom is small but the water has good pressure and nice temperature. The breakfast (free) is limited but it's okay, I always have some fruit to buy for myself. I highlight the place, which is very nice, and the beauty of the lobby. I like that you're at La Brava's footsteps.

The best kept secret of Punta del Este

There is a lack of wifi in the rooms, which is important. hygiene is excellent, the location is great, steps to go for La Mansa o la Brava and the shopping center on Gorlero. es a historic hotel (80's, 90's) very well taken care of and the staff is excellent in their treatment, kind, and when it should fix things or inform you. the breakfast has no fruits that should be improved. anyway there are several step by step markets, and fruit shops.

 good relationship between quality, price, attention and location.

Hotel for a few nights 1 or 2, no more, it was several times short time and this summer 2022, we decided to spend a few days, booked and paid like two months before and they didn't have any attention, the price was the same when hiring when they received the U$$ two months before. In some hotels every 5 or 6 days they give 1, here's no attention. The terror mattresses (hab upper) we ask that they return to see if they improve, and nothing passes. The tiny shower at least in the way we play. Enough of the surrounding smell that went away the second day, no ventilation before lunch. Enough of the old fruit, no old fruit as in others. Excellent hotel at a reasonable price. Available and friendly staff, thorough cleaning and breakfast with excellent choices. The location is fantastic. Close to the beach and the possibility of cruising the sea to the port.

Exceptional position

When they tell you that it's a standard room without air conditioning, you can't imagine that they're going to take you to the basement with a very strong humidity smell and no windows. A ventilator that removes the wet air and for colmo was locked in the bathroom because the wooden door was blown up by the humidity. And the toilet rug was broken apart from having the toilet almost on top. Beware of the cheapest promos. Travel greetings. At least they returned the money and I didn't stay a night.

Very good location!!! Close to the bus terminal, the city center and Y of the beach where the hand rises from the arena, the best thing about the hotel is the good disposition, help and kindness of the receptionists.

Good experience

I went with friends to spend the weekend.The care of the staff is excellent.The only thing I wish was that people would not be allowed to smoke in the rooms.I was touched by a room on the third floor and every time I entered it the smell of cigarettes was unbearable.The basic breakfast, they should add fruit but the rest is good.

Agradable 

A block from the bus terminal with the basic amenities to spend a day or two.The attention was right.A little expensive for the price ratio, but in that locality everything is expensive.

I love this hotel, simple with the right and necessary, with the excellent staff and Daniel at the reception who is a genius.The breakfast is super complete.It is just a few blocks from the gorilla, a short walk from the bus terminal and a few meters from the finger beach.

 Holidays

The hotel's people were very friendly, and the breakfast was fine, and the proximity to the peninsula and all its dining points became ideal, the hotel was affordable, the cost was affordable, and the location was impeccable.
