McMillan Inn Bed and Breakfast

We stayed here September 11-14. We were there celebrating our 19th anniversary. Eric and Melissa are fantastic hosts. We have been wanting to see Savannah and stay in a Bed and Breakfast. We had talked about visiting for about 5 years. In 2022 we were about to book a stay at different B&B but life through a big wrench in our plans. Our eldest was diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukemia in August of that year. In 2024, with our son doing well and being 2 years post transplant we started up our September anniversary getaways again. Last year we stayed fairly close to home and our getaway was only two days. This year, with our eldest son off at college, we set out to have our plan of staying in Savannah come to fruition. I’m so glad that we stayed here. I hope we have an opportunity to visit again. The hospitality from all of the staff and from Eric and Melissa was impeccable. The room, we stayed in was on the second floor and it was breathtaking. The breakfasts were delicious. How I wish we could’ve extended our visit. The inn is within walking distance of most of the attractions in the historic district. Our second day there we walked a total of 3 1/2 miles taking in the sights at most of the squares and admiring the beautiful architecture. Touring the area on foot was fairly easy; you just have to watch your step on the cobblestone and brick walkways. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway with homey feel, I highly recommend, this inn.
