We rented unit 212 at the Kona Magic Sands complex. The unit was basic in terms of the inside, comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for meal preparation. The Murphy bed was positioned so as to allow you to watch the stars or the ocean while lying in bed, which was spectacular! There is no balcony, but the ocean view wall of the room is sliding glass doors with screen doors which also open, so no balcony needed. Located steps from the beach, and close to restaurants and shopping, it’s hard to imagine a better value. There is designated parking, and the Kona trolley stops right outside so a car is handy, but not necessary if you are not exploring beyond the tourist area. Fantastic rental!
