The Towers at Longfellow by Vacasa

This was a great way for three couples to spend some time in Boston. We had a beautiful view of the city, a large living room and dining room to gather. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms. We walked most everywhere we wanted. For affordability this was a great choice as the cost was less per couple per night than a hotel. We would definitely do it again.

Space was just perfect for our family of 5, including two teenagers.  Everyone had their space to decompress from busy days walking all over Boston.  Location is in the heart of the North End, close to EVERYTHING!  T-stop within a 5 minute walk.  Loved every second!

This 3 bed apartment on 36th. floor was fantastic. Very clean and well furnished and stocked with everything we needed.
The views from the 36th. floor were also fantastic and the concierge service superb.
I cannot recopmmend this apartment more highly

We enjoyed our stay in this amazing high rise located right next to North Station. We walked easily to restaurants and to Whole Foods where we stocked the fridge with our favorite breakfast items. The unit was spacious and very clean with beautiful views of the city and harbor. It has high end blinds that we raised and lowered as needed. Our only criticism is that the furnishings were not up to the standards one would expect in a place like this. The MBR bed was a king size pillow top but it needed replacement (it sags) and the MBR television wouldn't turn on (broken?). The water flow in the shower was very light and it took forever to rinse my soapy hair. The sleeper sofa is also in need of replacement. We had to relocate the mattress to the floor so it could even be used. The seats were not attached to the dining room chairs and every time we got up they would move or fall off. Some rugs looked brand new and others looked very old. It was all very odd. If they would simply update (or repair) these pieces it would be a 10 in my book.

My extended family of 13 got 2 apartments but I will write about the apartment I stayed in. The 3 bedroom in Tower 4 was a great choice for the following reasons:  the place was huge with picture windows of Charles River on one side and the Bunker Hill bridge one the other,   we had 2 showers and 3 toilets for the 3 rooms,  the kitchen was stocked with plates,  cutleries, cookware,  pay parking is available next door,  and Whole Foods and CVS were also right behind the buildings.  The apartments are also about a 15 minute walk to Boston Commons.

Having said that,  be aware that this is an old apartment which is repainted.  The master bedroom also had a funky smell which I suspect is from old pipes.  The good news is if anything needs fixing (the towel bar fell). the handyman is just downstairs.

This was a great find for our family as all hotels were priced at their highest that week.  We ourselves drove over from New Haven, CT after our daughter's graduation there.

Perfect location for a family vacation

Perfect location. perfect apartment

We were in a 2 bedroom apartment in Tower 1. Check in was easy and as described, so we were in our apartment within minutes of arrival. 
The apartment was clean and had two perfectly adequate double rooms and a large lounge area. Kitchen was small but OK.
The location is definitely the big plus for this property. Minutes walk to the centre of Boston's attractions and only 15 minutes from airport.
The negatives......apartment could do with some love.....A/C units rattled like they were going to come off wall, kitchen tap constantly leaking, TV in bedroom not working, shower cubicle door trim hanging off. Nothing major, but needs some investment.
Only other gripe, is that the apartment smelled terribly every evening because of someone cooking on the same floor (obviously nothing Stay Alfred can do about this).
Would we stay here again.....probably.

Perfect Location, but a little tired......

We were in a 2-bedroom apartment. Unlike the photos here, the apartment was very sparsely decorated, with very little on the walls, creating kind of a transient feeling. The apartment was spacious and had amazing views. The building is showing its age, however -- the air conditioning units were very noisy and in the master bedroom there appeared to be mold on the ceiling and grout in the shower. The inner shower curtain also needed to be replaced. The master bathroom needs towel bars or rings -- with very limited counter space it was frustrating to have nowhere to put hand towels other than on the counter.  The kitchen is well stocked with plates, glasses, silverware, etc. 

Great location -- we were able to walk to just about everything we wanted to see and to easily access the T to get to Fenway. Lots of places to eat nearby. Front desk staff were helpful and friendly, check in and check out were very smooth.

Be aware that there is construction happening just across the street and work begins at 7:00 am on weekdays. We were only in town for a day so we were up early to see the sights but if we'd wanted to sleep in and relax I would have been really disappointed by all the noise.

Great location, could use updating

Not a bad apartment but beginning to show it’s age a bit. 
The tap in the kitchen wouldn’t turn off and eventually we managed to get it down to a slow drip. There are signs that it needs a good renovation. Saying that, it was clean and fairly comfortable. 
The location was good and there were some good pubs/ restaurants within walking distance. A safe area too.

Not bad

The location is good, about a 5-10 min walk to downtown and park. The room was average, very spacious but beds too firm. Pool was great, big and clean. Parkin expensive. But overall a good stay! P.S.DEFIANTLY DO THE “RED” Freedom trail, it’s great, definitely recommend the silver bus tour, avoid the pricey red bus and the duck tours!! AVOID China town too, it’s very dirty( rotten food in the road, everyone smokes!, it’s horrible,and there is nothing to see!!) Also recommend walk the red route, and definitely climb the 300 steps up the needle monument, which is on the red freedom trail! BUT FIRST GO TO THE INFORMATION CENTRE TO FIND OUT ABOUT EVERYTHING, ITS FANTASTIC. It’s located in the main park! ENJOY!
