Little Dane Court

My boyfriend and I had an overnight stay at Little Dane Court a couple of weeks ago after a dining experience on The Kent and East Sussex Railway.This hotel is a converted grade 2 listed building with several rooms. We stayed in the Courtyard room which had brilliant underfloor heating (in fact it was a little too hot during the evening), lots of cute oriental artefacts and a large amount of space. The kimono style robes and slippers are a lovely editions, as well as the little chocolate eggs alongside the tea and coffee.Rod was a lovely host; he saw us in and recommended a bar in the evening (which we took him up on and enjoyed!) He told us we were the only people staying at the hotel and whilst friendly, he was not overbearing which some hosts can be when there are not many people staying in the accommodation. He made us a cooked breakfast the following day and quickly responded to emails.In addition, the room was prepared for 12pm (even though the check in time is 4pm) so we had plenty of time to wind down and get ready; enjoying the room. This did not come at an extra charge and was extremely helpful. The hotel is at the end of the 'high street' so the perfect location in Tenterden too.Thank you Rod for your hospitality!
