As attending a family party in Birkdale the location was perfect. 
There’s ample parking and Julie our host was flexible with check in/out and made us feel very welcome. 
The room was spacious, had everything we needed and the bed was so comfortable. 

Breakfast was a full English, excellent quality and great service. 
I would highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed here while attending a family event in nearby Ainsdale. Host Julie was fantastic, very friendly and helpful.Room was very clean and warm with everything you needed. Bed was extremely comfortable. Facilities were great and cooked breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay again and would recommend this guest house which is a short drive from Lord Street 
in  Southport.

The room was clean and comfortable and Julia was lovely...very kind and chatty just like an old friend.
She even gave me a lift to my venue where I was visiting.
Good full size English breakfast to boot with all of the trimmings.
Price seemed fair at 99 GBP.. would stay again 


Beautiful period property. Detailed local information available from restaurants to the numerous golf courses. 5 minutes to pretty much anything you want to see or visit
Off road parking, fabulous breakfast of anything you want, all carefully cooked by Joe. 
Julia is very warm and welcoming and rooms furnished to a high standard - main point for me was FABULOUS PILLOWS!  Which ensured a good night's rest

From the second we were welcomed in to the minute we left we were so comfortable and at ease. Beautiful big house. Spotless in every room. The bed was like a cloud as where the pillows!!  Tea and coffee and even an ice cold bottle of bubbly for my 50th. Pre arranged but a beautiful touch. Bathroom spotless. Big shower. Big bed. Warm and inviting room.  We loved it here and would recommend it to anyone. Breakfast was big and fresh with plenty of fruit and coffee. Wonderful.  Loved it. Thanks so much. And so sorry about the plate.!!!   Will be back. We’ve stayed here many times on our trips to play Royal Birkdale.  This is our first stay since Joe and Julia have taken over and we were not disappointed.  Joe was very welcoming and went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed.  Breakfast was great with a nice glass of freshly cut fruits to cleanse our pallets before our choice of whatever we wanted.  Can highly recommend this guesthouse and we will certainly be back!  Thanks Joe! x

Husband & son stayed for two nights, whilst golfing locally. Great location to walk to local bars and restaurants, with host giving good recommendations. Very amenable to ensure they got a cooked breakfast before golfing. Will stay again when golfing locally.

Best Scotch breakfast outside of Glasgow .Very warm welcome from Joe  very clean throughout . Had a great time looking around his hidden vintage collection in the cellar .
Found the beds to be really comfortable with really good quality pillows for a very rest full nights  sleep ..Just a short stroll from the cosmopolitan village center where there are many bars and places to eat or just sit and relax with friends.

We stayed at this guest house for three nights at the end of October.

Our room was very clean and comfortable and lovely and warm too, despite it being a very cold spell. There was also a guest lounge which we were able to use to relax in.
Joe was a very friendly and helpful host and cooked us a good breakfast each morning.

The property is very well situated just a few minutes walk away from the lovely village of Birkdale which has a great choice of restaurants and small shops. It is only a short hop too by bus, train or car into Southport. There is a large parking area at the rear of the guest house with plenty of space for all.

We would definitely recommend this guest house and wouldn't hesitate to book in again anytime we are staying in the area in the future.

Ideally situated for any of the local golf courses, Birkdale, Hillside. Rooms comfortable and good breakfast. Joe and Juila very helpful. Based in nice town of Birkdale, a few decent restaurants and bars.
