Mr a s cotton

Amazing! We were initially put in Room 3 which we found a little disappointing for what we had paid. We asked for Room 5 (our very favourite room) and we were delighted to change rooms (although slightly confused why we hadn’t been offered that one first?). Room 5 was stunning and impeccably clean and inviting, although very ( a little too) warm on arrival Our bar meal was excellent, the bar manager was wonderful and kept the real fire stoked all evening which enhanced the cosy pub experience.Breakfast was amazing and the staff as always were exceptional.The homemade shortbread biscuits which we enjoyed with coffee in our room were truly delicious.We live less than half an hour away and this has become our once yearly treat. A truly fabulous country hotel with excellent food and impeccable service. Thanks all!
