The Townhouse Ludlow

Fantastic location;  spotlessly clean.   The room and ensuite bathroom are spacious and beautifully decorated. Cannot recommend it enough.

A charming place to stay in the heart of Ludlow. Clean and characterful rooms with all you would require for a comfortable break. Easy check in and out. Plenty of parking close by.

The best place to lay your head in Ludlow. It is in the heart of the town, with restaurants galore and drinking experiences abundant! every visit we find somewhere new to add to our list of favourites, this time a shower drove us into a lovely wine shop where we shared a bottle of Pino Grigio for £15 until the rain stopped.We also met a new friend Jane who served us. we will head back there next time rain or no rain

My wife and I stayed here on our way home from a week in Conwy as Ludlow was halfway on our journey home to Wells Somerset.
When we arrived we went to the Deli to pickup our room key, where we met a lovely lady (Charlotte) who escorted us to our accommodation. 
Well when Charlotte explained everything we needed to know for our stay she opened the door to our room and we were amazed at how beautiful everything was and a huge comfortable bed and everything was pristine and just  perfect👌 If you ever find yourself in Ludlow you could not go wrong staying in this beautiful place.

We stayed here a year ago as we have friends in Leominster and Ludlow is such a pretty and vibrant town, and we loved our amazing room at The Townhouse so much that we simply cannot ever stay anywhere else.

As per our previous stay, check in was easy, picking up the keys, information and our breakfast vouchers (for the delicious Italian deli a few doors down) from friendly and helpful staff at The Church Inn, who also escorted us to our room and carried our heavy bags up the stairs for us.

The room. We ideally wanted the 4 poster bed large suite room we had last time, but it was booked out. Nonetheless, the room we chose that was most similar was gorgeous, had the most wonderful view looking across to the Butter Cross and also down towards the market and Ludlow Castle (which by the way, is well worth a visit!), the king bed was huge and blissfully comfortable, the room was big enough to live spaciously in for weeks, the window seat is gorgeous, the bathroom was really cool, with one part having a sink and claw foot bath, and the other part having a walk in shower, sink and toilet, separated by a half wall.

There is also a walk-in robe room ideal for storing luggage.

Ample power outlets for those tied to their phones, such as myself, location perfect for all restaurants, pubs and shops, as well as the train station.

The included breakfast each morning at the deli is SO GOOD and the staff there so friendly. 

Check out was easy. A staff member carried our bags down the stairs for us and we returned the keys to the Church Inn to then hop in a taxi for the station to our next destination.

We'll be back every time we're in lovely Ludlow!

This townhouse shares 9 rooms (Unless I stand corrected). We had room 5 on the top floor and it was gorgeous. Very nice separate layout with a sitting area in front, beds in the middle, and the bathroom in the back. Bathroom was large for the size of the room, giving that luxury feel. Separate bathtub from shower was a nice addition. The room is lightly decorated, making it feel spacious. My favorite was the wooden beams running through the angled roof. You can tell the townhouse itself was well maintained throughout the years, a real charm Indeed. 

Ludlow is beautiful and we loved our stay.

The Townhouse is in a great location comfy king size bed (bigger than a normal king size)., comfy pillows and duvet. Very clean, nice and cosy too. We were in room 9,  large en suite with shower. Easy to collect keys (at nearby deli(. Dog friendly.
Ludlow is a beautiful town. Small enough to walk around easily.  Plenty of dog friendly cafes, pubs and shops. .plus regular market in the square.
The Town House is perfectly located in the centre of town.
You can drop bags off but then need to park further away  there are a lot of car parks within a 10 minute walk  we parked at Castle car park. You can pay online which is great if you want to extend parking into the following day from the comfort of your room.

NB I would say the town centre isn't great for wheelchair users...it is accessible so don't be out of too much ... buy there are some narrow streets with vehicle access...which could be challenging.

FYI the parking wardens are always around so be careful to park in a designated place.

This was our second stay and we absolutely adore staying here.
Superbly decorated with quality finishes and linens and spotlessly clean.
Ed ( the owner) welcomed us as we collected the key from the lovely deli, a few minutes walk from our room.
We had room 8 and had a fabulous night in the comfiest bed.
We will be back.

The Townhouse must rank up there with one of the best places we have stayed recently. The ground floor room just off the alley was perfect and in the centre of Ludlow so all shops, attractions and eateries were close by. The room was spotless, the bathroom with walk in shower fabulous and the bed and pillows were 100% comfy. The fridge was an added bonus. We ate dinner at Shapla Indian and Church Inn, both highly recommended. Yes there is no breakfast included but for us that made for a more relaxing start to the day.

Spotlessly clean, quiet room in a tudor building with exposed beams and four poster bed (room 6). Tv's (one at the end of the bed, the other in a little sitting room) mini fridge, beautiful bathroom, soft towels & toiletries.  All located in the centre of Ludlow with loads of pubs and restaurants within a few minutes walk

A beautiful place and rooms are generous in size and character. We had the king room with 4 poster bed, which personally for us was a bit claustrophobic and mattress a bit hard. This is just personal to us though so can’t fault the room itself. I thought we had booked a different king size room. No hot water on the first morning but that was soon remedied and sorted for a wonderful hot bath later in the day.

Romantic getaway

Absolutely lovely room! In a spectacularly old building. Really quite special. An amazing place to stay and surrounded by amazing food and drink at every turn. 
The staff at Harp lane Deli( where you get the keys from) were brilliant, fountains of local knowledge, friendly and were happy to keep our bags until we could check in. Great coffee, amazing sausage rolls too! Would definitely stay there again
