We have just stayed in this hotel from 25 July for Two nights. We were supposed to be staying at Britannia at Canary Wharf but it was cancelled last minute, So we were transferred to this hotel. Having read past reviews we were somewhat concerned about staying here. However we went on our trip and decided to chance it as some of the previous reviews were a bit dated and some a bit picky. First impressions it looked a bit tired from the outside. Booking in was straightforward and we were given a room on the 5th floor facing the road. Our room was clean and comfortable and a nice comfortable bed. Sheets and towels spotless, bathroom was recent and clean . Food we had was part of our package ,Breakfast was Full English and we could not fault it, Alternative continental breakfast was available if needed. Evening meal was very good and a reasonable amount of choice, Staff were very attentive and helpful. This hotel is in a very nice area, we felt very safe walking around both during the day and evening…10 mins walk to Chalk Farm and another 5 minutes walk to Camden..I have to say this is classed as a budget hotel, but we enjoyed our stay and really could not fault it on our visit. We would definitely use this hotel again in the future.
