Superb. My Husband and I stayed here on Saturday night (22nd March). Our stay was perfect from arrival until we left. Our room was beautiful (112). Dinner and Breakfast were first class. Staff were excellent, couldn’t do enough for you. Look forward to our next visit already.

We had an excellent stay at the Hetland Hall Hotel, the overall experience from start to finish could not be faulted in any way 
The Hotel is located in stunning surroundings and superb scenery, We were served extremely delicious food throughout our stay by staff who are all a credit to the hotel. We will certainly recommend this hotel and will definitely return again in the future.

From arrival to checkout we were treated with kindness and respect. All the staff were very helpful and polite. We stayed in a family room which was equipped with everything you need in a weekend break. The room was also very spacious and comfortable. I would suggest if you’re not great using stairs ask for a first floor room as there is a lift to the first floor. The rest of the hotel is accessed by stairs. The hotel restaurant served lovely breakfast and other meals throughout the day, with a light bite menu available from 12 noon until 5 pm. The dinner menu is fantastic although one item the mushroom Kiev turned out to be very tasty but absolutely enormous. I rate this hotel meals and drinks to be very good value for what you get.

We’ve just had a family wedding here right from the start of the journey it was brilliant the wedding coordinator was great nothing to much trouble the hotel was beautiful views are amazing and the day ran seamlessly from the start food was incredible and staff couldn’t do enough the hotel accommodation was clean beautifully decorated we really couldn’t have asked for more

Fancy place with great rooms and great meals and staff.
The rooms are beautiful and quiet and the parking is provided.
Meals and service in the dining room are exquisite both dinner and breakfast - this is a must stay in your travels.

Hetland Hall is a beautiful hotel with lovely staff and great service. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely with great views. The food was delicious and again great service. Lynn looked after us and was very attentive. It was great value for money, I would highly recommend a stay here.

My stay here has been exceptional, the grounds beautifully maintained very relaxing to sit in especially with a glass of wine and the sun shining, our room is very clean and very modern,the staff couldn't be any more helpful especially, Sam and Stuart who were in the dining room 2 pleasant young people with lovely personalities making our stay here more enjoyable.

Would highly recommend a visit for afternoon tea. Visited today and everything was perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful and the vegan afternoon tea was outstanding. Certainly the best afternoon tea we have had and a real treat.

My husband and I have just had a fantastic stay at Hetland Hall. We booked two nights with dinner and breakfast. Our room was stunning and tastefully done and very clean, the whole house is beautiful and staff were very attentive and helpful. We couldn't fault the food and service at all. A big thank you to Robin, Sam and the young lad behind the bar (sorry we didn't catch your name) for looking after us. You couldn't do enough for us and the service you provided was second to none. You are truly an asset to Hetland Hall. Thank you all and we hope to return soon.

Hetland Hall hotel is tucked away from the main road and is situated in lush green grounds. Food is homemade and freshly prepared. Had the best steaks in a long time! 
Staff cannot do enough for you they are a credit to the hotel. 
Plenty of car parking and lift available to floors. 
Room had everything you need and they are very spacious

The hotel was great I’d opted for the deluxe room which was huge. The shower was massive. Bigger than my bathroom at home and the staff were excellent and gave great customer service. Nothing was too much of a problem. I enjoyed the breakfast as well it was tasty. I wasn’t as keen on the veggie options at the dinner but that’s personal preference

Short Breakaway

A wonderful long weekend break visiting family in the area. Hetland Hall made a fantastic base.

We have stayed in this hotel several times throughout the years, it’s always been fabulous, decor & cleanliness is first class, food is tasty, hot and well presented, staff are extremely helpful ( especially sam on this occasion) and a lovely relaxed atmosphere, however …. come on £50 supplement because we stayed on a Friday evening… sheer greed, thank goodness it was one night as £100 supplement for two nights is beyond ridiculous….. sadly we won’t be encouraged to come back as it’s really poor this group is clearly targeting the Mon-Friday workers, shame on you!!!

Lovely as always but the ridiculous supplements on overnight stays has become ridiculous.

Family wedding

Stayed as a family of 4 (2 teenagers) in room 206. This room was a great size and the kids each had their own bed too which was ideal. Everything was very clean and the games on the tv were good fun. Bathroom was a good aize with big fluffy bath towels provided for us all. 

Food was great, we had breakfast and dinner on both days of our stay and really enjoyed the food. Service was great and all staff were very helpful at all times. Decor in hotel is lovely. 

Hotel was probably better for just couples rather than teenagers but we would definitely return as a couple as we really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely stay, food particularly good!

We used a voucher that our son had given us for Christmas  and did a DB&B deal we booked the Honeymoon suite and it was gorgeous the evening meal was delicious. We then moved through to the lounge to sit cosily by the open fire but unfortunately they had a leak above the bar area and the water was dripping through one of the roof lights onto the floor, so we were asked to move to another lounge that they opened for us but unfortunately even though they turned on the heat when we went in it was so cold that we just couldn't sit in it and went back to the reception area and had our drink there. We then tried the other lounge again about 1/2 an hour later this time wearing our jumpers it was still to cold so we got another couple of drinks each and went back to our room as being a suite had a lovely sitting area in it. But my husband noticed that at the other fancier lounge we were charged more for the same 2 drinks yes it was only 90p more per round but it was more the fact that they moved us there then charged extra for the privilege. No one sat in the fancier lounge as it was far to cold i think most people went to their rooms. Overall the stay was great the staff were lovely, we understand these things happen and was outwithbtheir control but to charge us extra for drinks under the circumstances they could have given us them for free or charged the same price as the smaller lounge not more
