Great small bread and breakfast. Richard is a kind and attentive host, concierge, cook, server, troubleshooter, manager... His patience and help with missing luggage and transportation saved our trip.

We stayed here two nights during our walking tour of the Wye Valley. Richard was everything any travelers could wish for in a host. He took special care of our luggage, and solved a major problem with taxi transportation-- not in his job description but most appreciated.

On a hiking trip in the Wye Valley, we were booked at the Coach House by our trip organizer.  The trip planner bollixed our luggage transfer from the previous destination and our taxi to the next stepping off point, but Richard smoothed things over admirably, tracking down our luggage and arranging transportation in a pinch -- all on a Sunday when the trip organizer's emergency phone number went unanswered. We couldn't have asked for a more congenial host.  Richard went far beyond expectations to save the day and get us to back on the trail.  Much gratitude, and hats off to Richard!

My family stayed at the Coach in for a family wedding and was so impressed with Richard's warm welcome, he couldn't do enough for them..including driving in his car to find a car parking place locally when he arrived!

The room was lovely and clean and comfortable and it was a terrific stay. Thank you so much to Richard, what a superb host.

Went kayaking down the Wye River and then stayed here for the night. Very comfortable, clean and central  to the town. The family that run the hotel are very welcoming and we would definitely recommend staying here. Breakfast was good. Will be booking the Coach House Inn the next time we stay in Monmouth
