Staff very professional. Helpful and friendly. Good food,  accommodation spotless, the whole place has a very welvoming atmosphere

So lovely bed extremely comfortable, had omelette for breakfast it was really tasty and hot.Would stay again.Just one criticism, they don't have sweeteners.

Working in Worksop for the week. ideal location. Nice rooms, great shower. Food great and all staff very friendly and helpful. will stay again if working near by.

Great place, very clean from our room right through the whole Inn. Found the staff brilliant, friendly and helpful. Large enclosed carpark and bear garden to the rear of the Inn, will return enjoyed our stay.

We had 1 night stay in the family room which was great. Very clean, interconnecting room with shared bathroom. Would recommend.

Excellent hotel in Blyth, this was a perfect stopover hotel for our long journey North. Hotel itself very clean, tidy and bathroom looked like new. Comfortable bed. Hotel is part of a lovely pub, run by great owner and fantastic staff. Ate in the pub in the evening and cannot praise the staff enough for their attentive and helpful service. Food was great and large choice of drinks available.Highly recommend this hotel/pub and will be a definite stop off again even if for just something to eat.Well done owner and staff at the Angel Inn, keep up the great standard

A beautiful, quaint country pub on my doorstep. I have driven past the Angel on so many occasions as my Mum, now passed, and Dad live in Blyth. I don't think I know what I have been missing. The only problem was my partner is a big guy and was unable to access the shower, the door was too narrow, other than that, lovely.

Friendly staff, comfortable beds,clean room, fantastic breakfast, top marks from us. Thank you.

This is a fine old coaching inn serving excellent food and having a very good range of beers. The room are recently refurbished in a modern style and though not large are perfectly adequate. The staff in every area were welcoming and very efficient. Before arriving we had a memo reminding that the pub would be shut between 3 and 5 but two numbers given to ring as staff would be about to let us in. Unfortunately there was no reply on either number so best to be sure and avoid checking in at that time.

Outstanding hotel/pub, highly recommended

I was very comfortable here - parking behind the pub in great, room was clean and super comfy Pub food was good and extensive- but if a wait as they were quite busy. I had to leave early and before breakfast service so they kindly made me a cheese sandwich and left in an easy access fridge for me which I thought was a nice touch.

We used this inn as a travel break whilst travelling from Northumberland to the south.  Great position - less than 5 mins from A1M.   Loads of character and charm with ample parking at rear.  Welcome was great.  Room was newly furnished/decorated - not quite my taste but it was clean and bathroom like a showroom.  The room was small but this is an old inn and so to be expected.   Only 2 gripes about the room - the bed was too hard for me and the basin tap was really slow - shower was great though.Food was great and really good value and service was quick and friendly.   Breakfast was a full English, included in room price.  The pub decor was a bit dated but again it is an old inn.Overall a great stopover inn and I would recommend it.  The best recommendation for the restaurant  was that the bar and eating areas were full of locals whereas another nearby pub was virtually empty.

The staff made us feel very welcome. We would have no trouble recommending The Angel to anyone who wants good value in a convenient location.
