Woodlands Guest House

stayed here for 2 nights and the guest house is lovely. its clean, the breakfast is very filing and plenty of tea/coffee/biscuits in your room. lovely idea of extra pillows in the wardrobe too, which i loved as i find 2 never enough, also extra blankets if needed.
we thought it was lovely and very good for the price.

Woodlands was absolutely perfect for our trip to Real World Studios in Box. It was within walking distance of the studios and local pubs. The family room we had was ideal, breakfast was delicious and we were very well looked after. Couldn't have been happier, highly recommended.

Located on the A4 (but set back off the road), just 6 miles (9 kms) from the city centre, Woodlands is the ideal base when visiting Bath. Free on-site parking is available. Our charming, down-to-earth hosts made us feel most welcome and were able to recommend options for local dining within easy walking distance. Our ground-floor room was of a good size and was clean and comfortable. The cooked breakfast was delicious. Note: There are no EFTPOS/Credit Card facilities.

Ideal when visiting Bath

Perfect B&B

Booked this location as we were attending a wedding locally and, being Easter weekend, hadn't realise how booked up things get.  It's a lovely area and the guesthouse was easy to find.  The room was 'OK' but could have done with a bit of updating.  The mention of 'toiletries' on the Booking.com website was a little misleading as a half used bottle of Radox shower gel and a Lidl bottle of soap was an 'interesting' alternative.  The floor was Lino throughout the bedroom and bathroom but there was plenty of hot water and the bed was reasonably comfortable.  Good amount on parking on site,  Shame it was cash only as Booking.com hadn't specified this previously but there was a cash point at the garage next door.  Wifi was OK.  The best thing, however, was the rather yummy full English breakfast.  I am generally not a full English kind of person but this was really nice, and the pot of tea was also really very good indeed.  The place could do with a bit of decor sprucing up (new, tasteful duvet covers, new curtains etc) but pretty good for the price.

phoned ahead to let them know we were running late very accomodating, offered us a cooked breakfast at 6am as we had to leave early which was very kind, but declined as we felt too much trouble for them to go to, so a  plus for hospitality,
However, I didnt like the vinyl flooring was a bit cold! The walls were paper thin and our neighbours rather loud till about 1am. In the morning (ladies) there was not a plug socket anywhere near a mirror a bit of a pain for doing hair and make up!
