The lay out felt like being at home the only disappointment was the shower didn't work properly

A comfortable and well equipped flat in a massive residential complex. Staff were friendly, enthusiastic and capable. Free parking was available in the centre of the surrounding roads, sufficiently close that the car was visible from the flat. The surroundings were not the best but we spent seven nights with no issues at all and regard the property as offering great value for money.

Maritime apartments have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is quite small but has everything in it you need. Bathroom is very clean and of good quality. The shower is big and powerful.

We stayed here for 5 days whilst visiting the south lakes on a short trip. The apartment itself was lovely, clean, spacious. The outside is a little run down and unkempt but this wasn't a problem once we saw how well looked after the inside of the apartment was. There's shopping places incredibly near by which makes it a great self catering place to stay. 

Only downside, its marketed as free parking but the parking is only 2 hours and they warn that you park at your own risk because traffic wardens do supposedly turn up and give tickets. Didn't happen to us, but would have been nice to know beforehand! 

Overall, a great stay and I would definitely stay there again.

Home away from home, just what you need when your working away on night shift.

We have stayed in these apartments for 2 years now , we are only 5 minutes walk away from work, when the job was at its peak there was about 16 lads using these facilities, they have 2 bedrooms and 3 bedrooms so was handy for moving lads about when lads started to move on to other sites. there are plenty of places near by ie takeaways shops gyms etc.

Ideal for a single person working in the area. Could fit an second person if occupants wanted to share a bed. WiFi and TV are OK, some crockery, cutlery, towels, bedding, toilet rolls and cleaning and cooking apparatus provided. Close to BAES, a Co-Op and only 5mins walk to Morrisons and the town centre. The buildings are old, but appartments are decorated. Might be colder during the winter, as windows are large sash type although the gas central heating should be adequate.

Excellent apartments and helpful staff. Good location when working away on business. I would recommend staying if you want a bit more home comfort a hotel doesn't seem to offer and having your own kitchen allows you to cook your meals when it suits you.

Comfortable but basic apartment. Ideal location for our requirements, though could be off-putting if you don’t know the area (I do). Surprisingly quiet and feels much safer than you’d think on first impression.  Like most serviced apartments, could do with some tlc. A few hours tidying up decor, flooring etc would make all the difference. No iron. Good price overall.

The heating was broken - either swealtering, even with all the windows open, or off.  We were told maintainance would be around next morning at 8.00. just before 10 we complained they had not come and we were told they would sort it.  Maintenance eventually called my mobile mid afternoon and said " It is like a furnace in here" and said turn it off and we will try to contact you tomorrow....!  That was the las we heard of it.  We complained as we left some days later.  People were always nice and  said they would help - but nothing happened.  The apartment was small but reasonably smart.  Crockery was minimal but (just) sufficient.

I've been living in this place during the week for over a year now and can't knock it. The Maritime team have done an amazing job at transforming the outside and when you're in the apartment itself you'll struggle to find anywhere as good as this for the price. I've stayed in worse hotels that charge more per night than this costs per week so I'll be here for a while. Totally recommended.

Perfect Professional Accomodation

I use this property every time I’m in the area for work as I like my own space. It looks a little rough and ready from the outside but does me the self contained flat is clean and well equipped.

Appartment was nicely equipped and cosy, pair this with regular cleaning and you get a nice experience. Only problem is beware of where you park!! There is no designated parking for guests, the only bays around are 2 hours maximim stay and traffix wardens are very active in the area.
