It's about a mile from the train station and about a 20-minute walk to the center. Check-in is done near a box in front of the gateway via a code that is emailed to you at the time of booking. We had the room on the 4th floor, mansard. The shower is very low so it's uncomfortable for a tall person. We just found two foam bath bottles. No changing of fabrics and sheets. The room is not remodeled. So it would be good for a few nights stay.

No services

The worst room I've ever seen, it stinks of sewer and the heating doesn't work, it's about 15 degrees in the room, rooms in the basement, extremely loud and glass door to the street.

Smelly and cold

I was a little bit concerned after reading some of the reviews on here about this hotel although I took the advice of a prior guest and I requested a room on the top floor.

The room was fantastic, highly recommended. It was cosy, comfortable, quiet and in a great location. 100% I would stay in this hotel again. 

Lovely room, pleasantly surprised 

A very nice apartment with almost every comfort, elevator, rolling iron, dry hair, fridge with the falling door, good bedding but cushions to change, good for the dog's niche) but clean, lacking a fan especially at 32 degrees.

When l got into my room, it was nowhere similar to the pictures in Booking. I contacted the owner and guess what l was told? They said the pics in Booking are just examples!!? Are you serious??? When l am booking a room, it is due to the pics and the facilities but looks like this person got it all wrong! Our room was on the ground floor, so the same level of the pavement and the street which means very noisy. When we opened the only window the room had, we could hear people who were checking in because the window was right by the entrance. The bathroom was super small and uncomfortable. The place smelled mold. When l could not gind the remote to the tv and contacted the owner about this, he did not even reply! I am a frequent traveler and have never encountered sth like this. Looks like our room was sth like a store because there was a door. Just check the pics l uploaded

Simply terrible

I liked this place. It's small and simple, but for the location and the comparison of the other costs in Zurich - I loved the deal. When I arrived I couldn't get in with my code, but I made a quick phone call and within 10 minutes someone came with my key. I'm lucky because I have a good long distance plan, but I imagine an issue like this might be really problematic for someone who maybe can't make phone calls internationally. 

Otherwise, I really liked staying here. The wi-fi was fine and there were lots of places to eat nearby.

Great Price for Zurich

I personally have had a good experience in this apartment! 15 minutes walk from the central station, in an area full of shops, pubs, restaurants, well served by public transport! There is no reception but a quick check-in according to which, by entering a code they send, you immediately get the key to the room. The last one is clean, big enough en kept. It has a TV, refrigerator, free wi and private bathroom!

Good experience

We were very excited! we had a bit of trouble getting the key as our code didn't work but with a quick phone call it was sorted and the staff on the phone where very helpful. 

Good points- it was clean and comfortable, located next to the town which is ideal for walking around during the day-

Now to the bad ...
We are 2 young girls (27yrs) and We were put in the ground floor room 1.. IF you get this room DONT!!! it’s Dangerous to people on the street!
It based on the road side one side is the main entrance and you have your main window here with shutters that you can physically move! The other side is ALL glass with a glass door and it has steps up to the room from the road side (perfect little block for the homeless) in the room it’s just a curtain covering this. 
We stayed for 2 nights and the first night we went out on the town, it was brilliant! Had a great time, came back absolutely fine! The issue was the 2nd night, we came Early July and it was BOILING hot!! So we opened our main window as the room has no air-con or fans We heard and smelt smoke coming from the window and realised someone was having a cigarette and it was coming into the room-We asked him to move several times but he didn't, it got to 11pm and we just began to get ready for bed and my friend SCREAMED! The man outside was peering through the shutters that he moved and was watching us , He continued doing this for an hour and he kept appearing at the glass Door and tried rattling the door open! We called the apartments to move us as we were scared and shaken, we had no idea what he was going to do, but they said there was nothing they could do! All they did was give us the number for the Police! The window also opened from the top so we only left that open so he could peer in but this left the room Boiling hot unbearable! We could not sleep as we didn’t know where he was and we were frightened, he all of a sudden lifted the shutters completely up! We screamed at him and we phoned the police straight away which made him run, the police came within 5 min which was brilliant but they could not find him. After they left we asked a Male friend to come to us as we wanted to go outside for fresh air as we were too scared to go out alone, He then turned up again!! Our male friend was luckily there and he confronted him and told him to leave us alone, for him to reply saying he does it all the time and we were boring anyways! How Disguising!!!!!!!! If you stay here make sure you are on a high floor!

A Man watched us get changed through the Window !

We stayed here one night when we landed in Zurich. Comfortable bed, bathroom was fine, and natural light was good too, which mattered to get over jetlag. Shame there’s no actual reception, which would make it a bit more homely, but the actual check-in process was straightforward enough.

It’s only about five minutes on the tram from the main central station, so it’s really convenient.

Great value, comfortable stay

Located in city center, close to everything. Very nice and clean and honestly good priced when comparing to other hotels in Zürich center. Only issue was the check-in process which was poorly communicated as well as how to reach a human to help.
