Nordic tranquility, friendly staff and beautiful spa. Very peaceful experience, the perfect get-away to gear down from city life❤️ Two days were too short, next time we will stay longer and experience more of the vineyard, spa and the beautiful surrounding nature!

We had a perfect stay in Sjöparken with dinner and breakfast at restaurant Äng. The place and service was in top. Everything was very thought out. The dinner and breakfast was probably the best I ever had. 

You simply have to experience it!
A magic garden with lovely plants, flowers, bushes and trees. It's like a fairytale to walk further into the spa-area discovering all the cosy saunas and natural pools!
A real retreat everyone deserve to enjoy one time or another! 

I cannot recommend this enough. Have a night at this amazing spa, with the most beautiful outdoor areas. And even better - the dining experience is just as good as the heated pool and underwater sauna. When you think the experience has ended you visit an extravagant morning buffet, that makes you wanting to book another night 👍

Very nice rooms in nature surroundings. The spa was amazing with good facilities in the middle of nature. 4 course menu at Restaurant Logen was very good. 
In total the nature surroundings with walks goes so well with the spa experience and the room atmosphere 

We had 2 fabulous days, with an magical innovative dinner at Äng, allmost with the nature on out table, several visits to the fantastic spa area, especially the hot outdoor pool was amazing. Highly recommendable for relaxation. 

we loved this beautiful spa and the garden all the plants in the different colours and the fresh spring pools. the onion soup with cod in it was the best thing i ever ate . the food was excellent . and the atmosphere was so beautiful and almost psychedelic with the music and the wavy wood. i loved to hang in the hanging chairs in the forest room. thank you for putting so much attention on beauty. 

To visit Astad Vinyard was like a trip to the Shire. The buildings were softly integrated with the nature which gave them a fairytale character. It was a pleasure just to walk around in the area and breath in the atmosphere.

I am almost reluctant to write a review as this place is so amazing I want to keep it to myself!

Very often the website for hotels sets your expectations too high, but this was the opposite. Everything, from the food, the setting, the people, the rooms, the spa exceeded our expectations.

The whole area is very creative, you never know what you will find around the next corner. Each building has a garden roof, which, combined with the stunning landscaping, makes you feel like you are in fairy land. We stayed in a cabin, which was accessed over a little bridge and was so beautifully designed inside, with a large bed and cute sitting area outside.

The spa is unbelievable, I have never been to a spa with so many different areas and options, and even over two days it was not enough to explore the whole place. There are spring water lakes so cold you can only swim for a minute, but then hot baths and underwater saunas to compare. Hats off to the landscape designer and the gardeners - it is fantastic. 

The staff are all so kind and knowledgeable, floating around with a sense of serenity and kindness. The food at both restaurants was superb, and restaurant Ang was out of this world. 

Rare to say we would come back somewhere - but for this we definitely will! My only criticism is the website - it really under sells how unique this is.

Ordered a hiking package where both breakfast and lunch package where included for the day. Got a backpack filled with lunch, water, coffee & cookies together with a map over the hiking areas. So after a good 18 km hike with a fantastic lunch we finally could relax at the beautiful SPA with the most fantastic surroundings and delightful pools and natural ponds. 
The dinner was at Logan and the food was top notch with a very nice waitress with excellent knowledge and skills.
We stayed in one of the garden rooms which was clean and with nice beds.
This was not my last stay at Ästad!

Magical!

Hiking and SPA trip

This is a beautiful environment and a very nice spa. However we were woken up by a högtryckstvätt, cleaning one of the saunas at 7 o clock in the morning, which was not nice ( we are two tired parents who really need sleep  when we get away from our small children, which is not often!). The dinner att Logen was mostly good. We stayed two nights and for The second dinner we did'nt have any options but to choose The maincourse that we did'nt eat The first evening. We would have like to have more main-courses to choose from. The breakfast was fantastic!

Stay in july

We had an incredible time at Ästad that we will never forget. The food was exceptional and quite frankly one of the best dinners we ever had. The natural surrounding of Ästad and the incorporation of it into the spa-area is soothing and makes you thoroughly relaxed from the everyday stress. We could quite frankly not wish for a better time, and we will surely and happily come back as soon as we can.

Such an amazing little gem. Beautiful interior design, amazing garden and spa. Truly fantastic. So worth it...highly reccomend. Can't wait to go back! The staff was kind and friendly the beds were top quality with regards to comfort...love the place so much! Feeling of complete bliss after the 2 night stay...
