Protur Floriana Resort Aparthotel

We visited Floriana back in 2022 and absolutely loved it. So we rebooked to come back this month. I had asked in advance if our room could be in a similar area to our last visit & they actually gave us the same room. How lovely. We were so pleased. We had a lovely three days, but had definitely noticed when the school holidays started. We come from Leicester so we finish school a week earlier than the rest of England. From the Friday we found we could no longer get a sun bed :(. It said on the info leaflet you couldn’t put a towel on sunbeds until 9am. People were up at 5am reserving them, which was a bit rubbish really. I’m aware staff can’t always help these things, but they also allow MASSIVE inflatables. Not just your standard lilo/rubber rings. I’m talking rafts, boats & huge rings. Which made the pool a little bit awkward at times when it was already busy. We always managed to get a table for breakfast etc which was a positive being a family of 6. Food is absolutely fine. I’m a little bit of a fussy eater, but my husband isn’t and loved the food. There was always something to eat, whether that be fresh salad, chips etc. they also catered extremely well for my husband who is coeliac. There was even gluten free lager. we were a little bit disappointed to find the all inclusive ice creams had changed from Nestle in 2022 to generic cheaper ones which weren’t very nice at all. We loved the entertainment. Both the kids and the adult. Mike was absolutely hilarious and made our holiday. He was a lovely man. The kids had an amazing time though, the staff work so so hard. From the domestic staff to bar staff, cooks, lifeguards. They are a credit to the hotel. The only shame is the 2 bed apartment we used the two times we’ve visited is no longer available for 6 people, it’s now a 5 person occupancy. Which means we won’t be able to visit again unfortunately. We had a lovely two visits though and hopefully in the future we can come back one day.
