Staff do speak English. The hotel has a letter missing on the signage outside. Do NOT let this put you off. The hotel inside smells fragrant. It is clean and it is tidy and the rooms are fresh and warm as well as spacious. My room has a shower but no bath. Water is hot. There is a vending machine in the public areas and a restaurant (closed during my stay in March 2019). This is a small town but is close to museum and natural facilities like beaches. I would recommend it. It is certainly not expensive in the low season for pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago to use. I was impressed with the hotel. It does not have a lot of public area.
