We stayed at the Hospedaje Royal Inn for one night before going on our jungle adventure. The room was 50 soles for two people and came with a ceiling fan, cable TV and wifi. For 100 soles you can get air-conditioning. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The area above the door to enter the room was open (no screen or glass or anything) and beyond the hotel's control, a nightclub in town plays very loud music that keeps you awake. We could hear the same nightclub 10kms out of town in the jungle though. You can purchase drinks, snacks, etc. in the reception area. Service was ok, nothing spectacular. Walking distance to the square, port, restaurants, market and so forth. Was ok for one night.
