Great food, wonderful environment, lovely service. the staff are courteous, the pool is quite lovely and the buffet is always rich. This was a summer experience i would not forget in a hurry.
I would definitely come back for more

Lovely holiday experience

My Family and I enjoyed our stay, the rooms were clean, comforting bed, great breakfast, lunch and dinner, nice staff, their services are unequaled. The View from our room is serene that i never wanted to leave. It felt like a home away from home. We will definitely choose here for our next relaxations.

Excellent

Old hotel that is no longer fit for purpose. Rooms are dark, damp and poor lighting. No clear TV, shower cibocls broken etc. No go area for now. Staff work 24hour shifts manning all areas. Training facilities poor. AC not working well, lunch for party served 2 hours late. I don't recommend it for relaxing or business. 

Poor service

This is an old hotel that has lost its glory. The management of this hotel is so poor I am tempted to say it's the worst I have seen .
The rooms are run down and dirty 
I found a wall Geko in my bedsheets upon arrival and on the second night the door to my room was rudely opened without a knock by hotel staff while conducting what they call room audit . 
I will not recommend this hotel .

A week in port harcourt

We arrived approx 40 minutes from the airport. Trans Amadi is an impressive suburb and the Juanita Hotel is tucked away from the main road. When we arrived, the porter collected our luggage, I waited in the lobby area while my husband sorted out our room. About 10 mins later, we were escorted to our room, an executive suite, which was up a flight of stairs. Upon seeing the room, initially, we were impressed but on closer inspection, it needed to be updated such as the plug holes, head-boards and entry doors,  The second TV in the bedroom was not working; the lighting was inadequate and the fridge was not working. But the A/C's worked and the meals were ok. Having said all of this, I would not have a problem in staying here again.

I haven't actually stayed at this hotel but I have been there twice. The first was fir after dinner cocktails and I was absolutely charmed. We had world class drinks by the pool and the waiter was knowledgable and solicitous. A visit worthy of four stars. The second time however was less enchanting. It was a year apart and the place seemed a little run down and abandoned. This time it was for a buffet lunch which was okay, but nothing special. There were three of us and I picked up the tab, which I considered not great value for money. The hotel is in a very decent location so I know it will continue to be in business but if I had to rate it overall by world class standards, I would give it a very excellent 2.5 to three stars. Maybe the rooms could bring it up to 3.5 but of this I have no knowledge.

Had lunch and cocktails, pleasant and average.

The location of the property is upscale and secure. I found the amenities to be average, rooms not that big. Decent and comfortable bed, a security guard on each floor, live music at the pool, breakfast buffet daily for a fee; I was not disappointed, but it was not what I had expected either.

Decent but average

The hotel is basic, quite limited, but it is one of the best in Port Harcourt. The care is good, the security is good, and it is in a reasonable area. Everything is expensive, as is the rest of Nigeria. The restaurant in particular is very expensive in relation to the quality of the food.

Basically, almost to the limit of what is acceptable, but the best of Port Harcourt.

Hotel ultra safe...Warm reception..Lunch is excellent, with a cook preparing eggs on demand. Fresh fruit and espresso machine. Room cleaning is fine, but nothing more. It is better not to have a room near the pool, because you hear the noise of the emergency generator that goes on the road regularly after the many power cuts.
