We had a wonderful relaxing stay at The Beach House Motel in Papamoa. Our unit was very clean and comfortable and everything was there that we needed for our stay. Gina and Pete were very helpful and accommodating and gave us lots of information about places to visit. It's very close to the beautiful, white sand beach, shops, supermarket, restaurants and walking tracks. We would definitely reccommed this beautiful, well appointed motel and would return. Thanks Gina and Pete!

Our stay at The Beach House Motel

I have been travelling around the north island and on my last night I wanted something different from holiday parks.
Location wise this motel was close to the beach, approx 3 minute walk. Massive plus.
When I arrived I was greeted by the hostess who really couldn’t have shown any less interest in me if she tried. Maybe I expected too much but some interest in me would be better than none. 
My room was close to the pool. Baffles me as families were further away which meant I listened to kids having a great time where maybe I would have been better suited further away.
The street is really noisey so I’d suggest booking a room further from the road. The dog next door barked all night.
The guest next to me smoked so I couldn’t keep the bedroom window open. It was great weather so really hot inside and no air con. The ceiling fan in the lounged blew dust everywhere. It was a dusty unit - maybe from the road front?
The room was huge with three beds. Mine still had the electric blanket on it which caused some discomfort when rolling on it through the night. 
The curtains had stains. The chain was missing from front door. I did not feel secure. One of the cupboard doors didn’t fit properly.
A little bit of care and attention could really have made a difference to this room.
At $195 for the night I’d have expected a little more.

Not for me

This place is fantastic! The Owners really helpful, the room huge, well decorated/ furnished, facilities excellent. 
The pool is small/ adequate with table tennis etc available. Free washing machine, helpful advice, kindness throughout.
I’d be happy to stay again, anytime.

Best Hotel I’ve stayed in, on North Island!

Great motel with lovely rooms in a fantastic location. Close to the beach with eateries and a supermarket within a few minutes walk. The owners are the nicest and most accommodating of hosts. Lovely pool that my 9 year old kept me in for nearly 2 hours. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended relaxing stay with awesome hosts.

Stayed here many times now. Always the best service from Gina & Pete. The rooms are spotless and quite.  Parking is great. The pool and spa are awesome.  Great location, close to the beach. Shops are not far.  Been coming here for years, and will be coming here for years to come I’m sure.  Well done guys 😊

Just Awesome 😊

This motel was excellent to stay at. it’s close to everything. no noise, spacious room, had everything you needed. i stayed in a room with a spa bath.  has a outdoor area, swimming pool, games room. there is a supermarket and restaurant 2 minutes walk down the road. the motel managers are really really nice people and are willing to help with your questions. i recommend this motel to everyone it was really comfortable like my own home.

Stayed in the 2 bedroom unit (downstairs). Great location for the beach, 2-3 minutes walk.  Rooms are very spacious and clean, and reasonably quiet.  The road this is on is quite busy, so be aware if you have young children.  About 20 minutes from Mt Maunganui by car.  Didn't use the pool, but it did look good.  Carparking is quite tight and involved a fair bit of shuffling around if you get in late.  Servicing of units quite basic (ie beds not made, dishes not done) but hosts happy to supply fresh towels etc every morning.

For beach holidays

What a wonderful place. The rooms are spotless and clean. Kitchen well stocked with all you need to cook a small meal. Toilet and shower had all you need and the towel where very soft. Staff went above what I would have expected and had me feel a home.

Great room, great staff, great stay.

Comfortable  stay. Great location - close to amenities and easy to get to. The pool and spa were a blessing. Games room with table tennis  and barbque available. Good wifi. The hosts were friendly and accomadating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful Hosts

A very enjoyable stay. The owners are very friendly and go out of their way to make your stay A1. Very comfortable room, exeptionally clean and quiet. Will recommend to family and friends. It was handy to all the amenities we wanted to see in Mount Maunganui.
