Napier

The accommodation is pretty much as amazing as it looks in the photos. Beachfront with an uninterrupted view of the ocean, beach access, and a direct view of the sunrise. The studio itself looks over the garden but the beach side is easily accessible and super cosy with tables, chairs, and lots of space to get comfortable. It is clean, quiet, comfortable, everything works and it immediately felt like home. It’s a short and easy 8 minute drive into Napier town which was perfect for us since we prefer to be away from the noise. There’s also a great winery within walking distance with an excellent restaurant. The hosts Brin and Biddy were just amazing (Duke the sausage completed the package). Extremely kind, friendly, considerate and great to have a bbq and bottle of wine with if that’s what you want. Would definitely stay here on our next visit.

Wonderful stay in Napier

We had a lovely few days staying in the studio unit. 

 Brin and Biddy were wonderful - very friendly and hospitable, and we had some nice chats and a few wines on the deck out front overlooking the beach.

The studio had everything we needed, and the breakfast fixings were spot on for us - cereals, toast, tea and coffee.  It's on the ground floor on the street side of the house, with the front courtyard and beach on the other side easily accessible by going out a private side door and along a short path.  I very much enjoyed, and photographed, sunrises and skyscapes from the beach.

The location was perfect for us, as most of our activities were either around the Bay View and Eskdale area, or on the northern side of Napier.  

Wonderful Hospitality and Location

I would highly recommend staying at Brin and Biddy's B&B. The space is modern, clean, comfortable and full of light. Their house and the location are absolutely beautiful. The ocean views are breathtaking and having a spa on the beach in the evening was amazing.
Brin and Biddy provide everything (bikes, breakfast, local information etc) that you would need for a fantastic stay in Napier.
They are very thoughtful and welcoming hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend :)

An amazing weekend in Napier

Delightful studio with everything you need including little extra  touches. Hospitality at it's best with Brin and Biddy who went out of their way to make our stay memorable.  Spa pool by the beach was a highlight! Delicious breakfast basket included all the essentials for a continental start to the day. Ten minutes drive to the city centre . Definitely recommend it.

Perfect Getaway

They say there are no such things as strangers, there are simply friends you haven't met yet: in the case of Brin & Biddy at Absolute Beachfront Bed & Breakfast in Bay View Napier, this is absolutely true. This is a fabulous place to stay if for no other reason than you'll feel like you've made a couple more life long friends. Brin & Biddy are hospitable to the nth degree. You'll struggle to find nicer hosts of a B & B in the whole Bay area.
The apartments are clean, tidy, well appointed with everything you could need for a getaway weekend. The location is also outstanding: far enough away from the hub bub of downtown Napier, yet close enough that it is 12 minutes away give or take, by car; or you can simply sit on the outdoor furniture provided, right on the beach, and watch the comings and goings at Napier Port, or the twinkling of the city lights as night falls.
The breakfast provided is ample, with good plunger coffee, a lovely array of fresh fruit, and the delightful touch of a small bottle of bubbles with a wee taste of delicious chocolate which awaits you at your arrival.
You'll likely get an invite to join Brin & Biddy for an evening beverage, which we sincerely wish we had taken the offer of, but after a long day of winery visits, and trekking around the district we simply didn't have the energy for. If we'd stayed another night we would surely have joined Brin & Biddy in there architecturally designed home. 
If being left to your devices without any interference from the hosts is more your thing, you'll get the privacy you desire as well.
The price is right. The location is perfect. The accommodation has it all. The hosts however ensure that this is an accommodation that you'll lock into the GPS in your car, and keep secure in your heart, because you know you're going to want to return again someday.

Hospitality extraordinaire.

We enjoyed our midwinter getaway with the use of the spa pool, watching the birdlife & enjoying the Hawkes Bay sun.  The hosts are friendly and and were able to book us into the local restaurant even though they were full.  All in all we had a great stay.

Really nice spot to relax

Brin and Bebe offer a wonderful experience, with a comfortable studio adjoining an architecturally quite interesting house on the beach. The hot tub with a great view of the ocean was a particularly appealing creature comfort, and we soaked at least 3x over 3 days. We were lucky to see some amazing moonrises over the water, as well as one spectacular sunrise as well. Basic breakfast supplies were tasty. Welcome mini bottle of champagne was a festive way to begin a memorable vaca. Maggie was the sweetest little lapdog too, but not too in your face if you're not a dog person too. 

Wow! What an amazing seaside property!

Wow!Wow! Thank you Brin and Biddy. had a great time. loved your hospitality . Fish n chips by your fire was fantastic. The most comfortable bed with high quality linen. The breakfast was very fresh and local. See you again in 2 weeks...

Napier on a winter's day

Booked here to stay for a concert and had the best stay ever! Hosts are super friendly and accommodating! Will definitely be back! Especially loved watching the sun rise while I sat looking at the ocean in the spa pool!

Cannot fault our stay!

We have come away feeling  so fortunate to have stumbled across this absolute gem of a B&B and meeting the wonderful hosts Brin & Biddy.
We had booked well in advance as accommodation was at a premium to attend the Elton John concert being held  at the Mission Estate Winery.
We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt relaxed in our peaceful seaview accommodation! 
It’s easy location in Bayview, beautiful beachfront position and being a short drive to town was great.  The rooms were very well presented, very clean, comfortable and everything was supplied that you could possibly need.
The hosts were knowledgeable in sharing with us in local attractions/activities, restaurants and wineries.  Brin kindly offered and drove us into town to the concert, and each morning Biddy served a delicious breakfast outside our room on the deck which was a real treat to start our day with.
Our only regret was not booking for a longer stay, but it’s truely on our radar now and we will definitely be rebooking and look forward to sharing more surfing adventures over a few wines with Brin and Biddy.
