Would NOT recommend at all. The room I was staying in had some kind of wasp infestation in the shower - when I told the front desk they did not seem surprised at all and just offered some bug spray, but then of course there were dead wasps throughout the entire bathroom... After I checked I noticed the floor was not very clean either, I saw the maid in the hallway and asked her to mop again, but even after she "mopped" again it was not any cleaner. There are surely much better places to stay in Palenque, if it were not the only hotel online with available rooms I would have left and found somewhere else to stay.

Dirty

Quite a nice hotel. The main letdown was the wi fi internet access, very slow and often dropping out. This could be because my room was located at the back of the hotel complex. Nevertheless this was a dampener on my otherwise good experience at the hotel. The remote for the air conditioner unit was missing, could not switch it on any other way, however, the overhead fans above each bed did make up for the lack of cool air.

The hotel is close to ADO bus terminal and lots of eating area around the corner.  R1 bus to Cancun beach is 3 min walk away.  We drove and arrived at 2 pm and the staff prompt open the gate and arranged quick check in. The lady at the reception is nice and helpful.

Funny little hotel at city center

We arrive in Palenque in the evening, about 20.30 booked on booking 3/4 hours before, I enter the reception a boy apparently underage, I explain that I booked 2 rooms for 5 pax one by 2 and one by 3, so far all right, from here onwards total crash! I waited almost an hour to have him read my email from my phone, then he looks at me and says:

He's better off now.

Stayed here one night before going to El Panchan, just so we could use some wifi for the night - however the wifi was terrible, completely useless in the room, and barely useable elsewhere in the hotel. Additionally the hot water in the shower barely worked, it took about 45 minutes and three visits from a hotel employee to get it working. The worst part of it all was that after 10 minutes walking around town, it was obvious that there were many other hotels offering similar accommodation for less than two thirds of the price here. Definitely try to find somewhere else to stay

Many better options in town

We asked for a quiet room, but despite everything, there was noise from the pool and the reception. The room was very large with three double beds, the bathroom was large but with few supports. We asked for the kindness of staying an hour and a half longer than the check-out because one participant was sick with dysentery and he told us to pay an extra price. The rooms are a little dirty.

Dirty, noisy

Fairly decent place to stay. Rubbing useless wifi. And slightly rude staff. Clean and tidy. Nice room. No atmosphere whatsoever. Good location close to bus depot. Good place to base yourself for the ruins and falls. Just an average place to stay!

Room was clean; however, it was extremely hot and stuffy since there was only a fan and no air conditioner.  This is a great place in terms of location: about a 10 min. walk from the bus station and 10 mins. from town and restaurants in town.

Great location, Less Than Desirable Facilities

2 steps from the bus station, in a quiet street, perpendicular to the main street. air conditioning or ventilator on demand (the price changes well on!) perfect cleanliness, comfortable bed, large shower...nothing luxurious but quite right for the price.

The hotel is located near the center, about 10 minutes walk, and at the very beginning of the street leading downtown from the highway. It was convenient for us because we were in the car, and we didn't have to enter the narrow central part. The hotel has a good parking lot in the inner courtyard. The room with a minimum set of amenities, but everything worked. There was a little noise from the street through the window in the shower. The internet worked, but not very bright. For a night out, in order to then quickly get to the national park, it is convenient enough.
