Pension Primrose

This year was our second time at Pension Primrose - the Pension owners are very friendly and accomodating. Each morning they would take you to whatever ski resort you wanted and of an afternoon pick you up. Our train was delayed on arrival and we could not get through to Myoko - the pension owners picked us up from the nearest train station - 30 mins away - no cost. Service was fantastic.The rooms are clean and comfortable (single beds) and the pension is like your home away from home. Breakfast was good. The owners english was also good so communication not a problem. The only drawback is distance from the slopes and main town area - it is a 10-15 min walk however the hospitality and welcoming nature of the hosts outweigh this. Plus the owners will shuttle you to the slopes each day so not a major problem. If you are looking for a great cultural experience and Japanese hospitality at it's best the Pension Primrose is for you.
