6 reviewsMassive thank you to Isamu and Tomiko for such an amazing stay and Mei the Shiba Inu for the cuddles! Mile post is great value - for cost and comfort. Isamu conveniently offers daily shuttles to/from the ski resorts and Myoko Kogen station. Tomiko’s traditional dinner is a must try (note: fish is in multiple dishes), was delicious and definitely something you wouldn’t get at home! The main shops are about a 10/15min walk from Mile Post, and there’s plenty of delicious food options and the convenience store for snacks and drinks. A daily soak in the bath/in-house onsen in the shower after a big day of skiing is great for the muscles. And (I didn’t realise for the first 2/3 days) it is prefilled and ready to go from 5pm nightly! Will definitely be back if we hit up Myoko Kogen again!

A very nice place to stay for a reasonable price - hotel «Pension Milepost» is located in Myoko. This hotel is located in 16 km from the city center.
