We travelled to La Capannaccia by train to Florence then tram to Villa Constanza where Claudio our wonderful host collected us. Our apartment was on the side of a typical Tuscan grand noble/farm house. Stone steps heavy wooden doors LeAding to well equipped spacious room with huge bed , large bathroom and sub divided well equipped kitchen and dining area. Lovely private garden with hot tub and tables at which we ate most evenings. Simple swimming pool for cooling off was very welcome after a day sight seeing in Florence or watching the picture post card views from our Windows. Claudio and Lara could not be more helpful or welcoming . Drinking the wine produced from their grapes cooking vegetables with olive oil from their groves and eating the lush tomatoes was a real treat. This is an agriturismo experience we would highly recommend to couples and families. Probably good to have transport however we managed fine without.
