It is one of this places were you check in and out by yourself, easy to do it, room was big and clean but some stuff was bad like for example luckily it had an A/C since it was very hot but it was super noisy, it has a fridge (was also noisy) the bathroom door stucks, the window drapes were falling… needs a better maintenance

Great location if you want to visit cinque terre, and also great spot in la Spezia. Room had well needed AC. Floor space was quite tight for two open suitcases. No elevator (first floor) but got help with our luggage from hotel staff. Would recommend.

Good value for your money

This is a great place to stay. Very clean, new renovated unit (private wash room). Host is warm and helpful. The location is close to every thing, train station, down town (It is a small town). Strong recommend this place.

This is a great place to stay

Clean, inexpensive furnished room in 10-15 minutes from the station. Everything you need is there. Leaving in the morning in Cinque Terre, you can leave things in the common room, which is very convenient. Mistress Adriana is very helpful. Breakfast is served at the nearby café. The only drawback in the winter, the room in the morning cools and you begin to freeze.

Better be a Tramp than Trump.

The room was clean and quiet.The mini breakfast of pastry, juice and coffee was sufficient and just down the street.The bed wasn't my favorite. Could feel the bed springs so a topper or foamy on top might be good.

Good location for exploring Cinque Terre.

We cannot say enough about our stay here. It was Fantastic! 
First let me say that it is located in an old apartment/office that have been converted into hotel rooms. So if you are looking for a traditional hotel with a reception desk, a concierge this is not the place for you. What this is, is a clean, well kept floor of rooms that make if fun and affordable to see the Cinque Terre.
The location is superb being located in the heart of LA Spezia trendy food and shopping area only 100 steps from restaurants and bars. The train station is about an easy 5 minute walk. 
The room was exceptionally clean and modern. The bathroom was updates and soaps and shampoos were provided daily. The bed was comfortable and the sheets crisp. As far as room size goes, it was bigger than what we normally expect in Europe.
Yes the air conditioners are portable units, but ours worked well and one must remember that in  many older style buildings cooling is not an option period.
Yes the TV is micro in size, but for those who read my reviews you will know my feelings on TV and travel.
The breakfast is not at the hotel but at a choice of 2 cafes just town the street. It consists of a coffee, juice and sweet cake. For those of you who think that is cheap, remember that this is a typical European breakfast. If you are looking for a Dennys grand slam meal, you are on the wrong continent.
Lastly the staff are fantastic. When you arrive you call the number listed on the door and Adrianna with come from her residence around the corner to let you in and get you settled. She will give you tons of info and tips on what to see and how to get around.
On a personal note, I would like to extend a special thank you to her. Our luggage was delayed by our airline and then sent to our old hotel in Venice. She took the extra steps to make sure all was corrected and our bags made it safely to us. Great Job! 
I would highly recommend a stay here, especially if you are here to see Italy without all the high priced frills.

Great room in a unique building with a great staff.

Although the lady in charge was really super nice and helpful, this B&B wasn't up to standards whatsoever. Our first problem was the AC, our AC wasn't working and hence they have put a portable AC (which was more of a humidifier to me) in the room which was very noisy and creating humidity in the atmosphere of the room. In general the room wasn't big enough for 3 people although we have booked it for 3. Towels' quality was super bad and amenities were very limited and did not include all the needed stuff. To me it is was an ok place as we only used the room for sleeping.

The location of the hotel is very good and it is clean. But there is no lift. Although the personel helped to carry baggages in check in, in check out no help. The bed was very unconfortable and the air condition is too much noisy. The personel was very rude!

From the train station turn left walk towards the round about. Cross the road to the right and go towards Via Fiume (go straight not backwards). Walk about 10 mins you will reach Via Cernaia, there is a restaurant at the corner (nice food there) the hotel is at the end of the street. It has a nice big glass door, ring the bell. Its an old building but the hotel is very new with nice decor. Its clean and family hostess. We didn't have much time to visit La Spezia, its a small city very local. For those who wants to visit Cinque Terre but doesn't want to stay, La Spezia offers good alternative. Eat at the restaurant at the end of the street, good Italian food
